Holmes-Cooney was actually a good fight. I knew Holmes would win, but Cooney was destroying people, and gave Holmes a run. Holmes is just one of the best Heavies ever. It was the highest grossing fight at that time, but I don't think it was overhyped.

I may be mistaken, but to me, over-hyped fight means: afight that was hyped, but didn't live up to expectations.
Tyson-Spinks I can see, but Cooney-Holmes was a decent fight. It probably was the most hyped fight, but Cooney brought it. Spinks did not. Just like my pick, Lewis-Grant. The promoters said Grant was the second coming, and the fight was the biggest {meaning weight and height} ever. We know what happened.

Your right, Holmes-Cooneywas a great fight, but I was thinking in terms of super hyped fights, not fights that were hyped but then were busts.
