Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
Feel sorry for him, your kiddin right? I don't feel one bit sorry for Zab, I feel bad that Floyd didn't put his low blow, rabbit punching bitch ass to sleep, I mean Zab looked o.k for first 4 rds, but everybody knows that championship fights are much longer than 4 rds, and the cream always rises to the top. The low blow was DELIBERATE, I had watched it several times since, I mean Zab was actually looking at his nuts as he threw the punch, then he rabbit punches PBF, AND THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, HE THREW A 3RD PUNCH THAT MISSED. Zab was wearing down and on his way to getting stopped, everybody could see that, then Zab outta fustration fouled PBF, uncle Rog was wrong, but so was Joel Judah who threw the 1st punch then Zab ran around the back of PBF's advisor and stole him and it did'nt even drop him. But the long interruption only help Zab, because he was ready to go, no question about it. As far as Joel Judah is concerned, he belongs in the same class as Norman Stone.

Couldn't disagree with you or Sal more.
Judah is a disgrace. That whole mess was intentional...you know it...I know it...the majority of the world knows it.
Even his fans in the arena that night saw the replay & new that was out of frustration & 100% intentional.
ive never seen ANY fighter catch this much heat for a foul intentional or not
this is getting to be ludacrisp 8)
Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
He's got to show a lot more decency before I feel sorry for him. There's nothing wrong with boxers being brash and it's got to be necessary to manufacture some sort of anger for someone you're committed to spending 40 mins fighting with but his behaviour has always been crass and has alienated a lot of people who might otherwise have supported him.
Roger Mayweather's stupid actions aren't on him though, low blow or no low blow.
Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
Trinidad Vargas
Hatton Tszyu
Anyone want to address this?
Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
why do people seem to think judah should have been dqd?
Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
Since he started tryign to put his hands on the referee after the Tyzu match i lost all respect for him. cant feel compassion for that guy

I've dumped on him enough in the past, and I know you like him so I'm trying not to be a prick, but to me what people are missing is the big picture with Zab. It's not even that Hatton was responding to Tsyzu's lowblows, its that I don't remember a whole lot of classless stuff from those guys besides those incidents. Its more of a pattern with Zab than those guys. And even without the pattern Hatton's caught a lot of shit for the Tsyzu fight, I have no idea what people were saying about Trinidad back then, didn't even know boxing boards existed back then.
With Zab its a continuation of past actions, yeah I thought it was a pretty classless move, especially since he followed it with a punch to the back of the head, but its not the biggest deal in the world, especially if it was a stand alone type of thing. Its not, worse was the blatant BS punch in the Baldomir prefight, and much worse than either was the Nady BS after the Tsyzu fight. To me this was a relatively minor incident compared to those two but it's a pattern with Zab. I didn't see the Sample fight so I can't comment on that.
Look, he's not James Butler by any means, but I find it hard to call him a real class act either.
Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
There has been alot of fights with low blows. Tito hit Vargas low, and maybe they were on purpose, but Tito had been going to the body all night, and those were more questionable than Zab's. Plus, Tito was losing some rounds, but wasn't in trouble like Zab. And, Vargas, IMO, purposely thumbed Tito in the eye. Paybacks suck!
Zab's punch wasn't as bad as the shat Derrick Gainer pulled, but looked that way because he had lost 5 rounds straight, and was getting hurt to the body.
I wouldn't DQ Zab for it, but when you're getting beat, and you've only landed a few body shots{mostly to the sides}, it looks kind of obvious that you purposely did it.

Can you name any other incidents when it was DURING ACTION as the fight was going on? And if you bring up Baldomir glove touch up, puh leeze, Camacho Sr. did worse and lost a fight because of it ;)

Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
alot of people are saying "he should be dqd, and what roger did was irrelevant cuz judah was already virtually dqd" or some shit

For the record, being a Floyd fan, if anyone should be DQd, it is Floyd. What Zab did is bullshat, but happens.
Regardless of the outcome, Floyd beat him, and it wasn't a fluke.
Re: Anyone Else Feel Sorry for Zab Judah?
unless fluke=great fight and better then everyone thought it would be ;)

IMO, was a good try from Judah, and another performance that shows Mayweather can adapt to any style. Yes, alot of people thought Floyd would stop him, I wasn't one. I picked Floyd to win, because I knew he was the smarter fighter.
It wasn't better than I thought. IMO, Zab came strong, but was clearly outmatched. A blind man could see that.
