Floyd didn't OWN Zab, he OWN's Gatti. But he didn't OWN Castillo or Zab ;) Zab didn't get his a** kicked.
So your trying to say that at some point in the fight Zab dominated but Floyd didn't.So what do you call getting hit 188 times vs. 88 for zab.You are right he didn't dominated him like he did gatti because of course zab is better fighter than gatti but if you think zab dominated then what did floyd do? He must of did more than dominate being that he won and left the ring blemish free and judah was swelled up and bloody. If zab walked in your house with his face looking like that you know your first thought would be,"Damn who whipped your a#*!
Re: Why Floyd Won - No Excuses
Domination is different then breaking a fighter down.
Domination is about damage directly dealt out.
Breaking down is sucking the life away, and takes more skill>
anyone can dominate, but it takes a master to break down.
learn the difference ;)

Oh I know the differences but it seems that you don't. So i will use words. By breaking judah down he was able to dominate him. Not being able to put up a solid offensive for 8 straight rounds and getting beat up in the process is domination. You say anyone could dominate so could you just go to the gym tomorrow and dominate Ann Wolfe?I don't think so. Domination and breaking down both take skill. But if you don't believe that I could show you. I think we from the same hood.We could get up one day. ;)

You take my statement out of context and add sarcasm to it not proving a point either way.

Any fighter can overpower an opponent when they have the advantages over them and makes them so apparent they dominate them(Mayweather vs. Gatti, DLH vs. Gatti) a blow out, if you will.
But breaking down a fighter takes more skill then just using your natural advantages against an overmatched opponent.
Gainer vs. Leon is a great example of this. Floyd Mayweather vs. Judah is another good example.
Dominating is beating the life out of
Breaking down is slowly sucking the life out of
There's a difference, learn it.

I agree, but then you are saying that Floyd is a master? I also agree! :D

Really. So you think there was a point in the fight where judah was beating the life of floyd.I mean you did say he DOMINATED the early rounds? Right?

THIS is what Zab did to Mayweather early, he used his power and speed as those advantages and made it apparent. It's a more physical performance then a systematic.
it's the difference between a Mayweather Gatti, and a Mayweather Judah.
Ok now,
Floyd did this

As Judah was being "dominant" Mayweather was "breaking him down" What I mean by this as, when Judah was taking apparent advantages, Floyd was slowly taking those advantages away, causing Zab to be less dominant, and Mayweather sucks the life away.

Do you get it now?
Re: Why Floyd Won - No Excuses
Starr, you said breaking down a fighter takes a master, and that's what Floyd did.
So, from what you stated{in your words}, Floyd is a master. Correct?

Of course Floyd is. I never discredit Floyd's skills.

:coolclick: I know you know boxing, but I have to say that you are the first person{that I've read so far}, that was pulling for Zab, that gives any credit to Floyd.
I picked Lacy to KO Joe, but didn't make excuses because he lost. He got beat by the better fighter who outclassed him. I give Zab some credit, I also gave Lacy some credit for going "away" to make the fight happen, but no excuses.

Stop making excuses and answer the question. Your definition of domination was''beating the life out of". These are your words. This definition is not from any boxing manual or dictionary. So by your definition this is what you said,"zab beat the life out of floyd in the early rounds"lol. Do yo really believe that? I know you got a little a crush on the man but damn is love really this blind?
