Re: Johnny Fisher vs Dave Allen 2
Dave Allen already said ages ago, he wouldn’t fight Itauma because Itauma is way too good for him.
What you have to understand is Allen is different to every fighter out there.
He’s fucking chuffed because now he can look at getting a house with an en-suite! And separate rooms for his girls.
He knows his level, and doesn’t have any false belief that he’s gonna go any higher.
He goes in the ring and even he doesn’t know how it’s gonna pan out.

they can both draw a good crowd.
that's why i said feed him to moses. good for undercards, not main event status

they should have fed johnny to moses & given him the kayo & exposure for extra promotion, not to dave allen who is going nowhere. we all know eddie wasn't putting johnny anywhere near moses. johnny's team are clueless. they should have given him two or three rebuilding fights & then rematched dave, who probably wouldn't have fought again in the time being & become disinterested in boxing as he does & not trained. that might have given johnny a shot at winning. instead they told dave they were going to immediately rematch him
Re: Johnny Fisher vs Dave Allen 2
The immediate rematch was the wrong move. Fisher will now have to rebuild anyway and hope that he is successful to get the 3rd bout against Allen.

But “feeding Johnny to Moses” would not have sold. Moses gains nothing from it, because he was and is way above that level. Even Fisher knows it.
So it would never happen. Itauma needs to keep moving up, not down. And I’m pretty certain it was Fisher’s decision to rematch. Wrong decision? Yes. But let’s be honest, and :
1. I don’t want to be cruel &
2. I hope I’m wrong.
But Fisher is never going any further than the level he is .
his popularity isn’t necessarily based on a line of improvement like most fighters. He will regularly have his few thousand followers even if he never went higher than what he is.
Not everyone is a World Champion and not everyone is in it for that.
I hope Fisher gets everything he ever wants from his career and gets out safely when the time is right.
Re: Johnny Fisher vs Dave Allen 2
i disagree, i think moses v johnny would have sold more than johnny v dave or more than moses' last opponent. moses would have gained more exposure. yes moses is way above that level, it hasn't stopped them making that level of fights for him though. & yes johnny knows it as well. i agree it would never happen because eddie was trying to milk johnny for as long as possible but even dave was too much for him. i agree moses needs to keep moving up not down, when i said they should have fed johnny to moses i was talking about before the first dave fight. his opposition his been shit anyway. at least it looks like they are feeding dillian whyte to moses next
