An uppercut to the balls and a well timed blow to the back of the head in a strategic boxing match isn't a result of the way the fight is being fought... it's a result of the beaten man running out of ideas.
Well after flooring Vargas in the first round. Vargas came back and was bringing the fight to Trinidad and taking the flow of the fight and beating up Trinidad and Trinidad throws one of the most devastating low blows I have ever seen and it took everything out of Vargas to come back from it that he spent himself.
Trinidad is known for doing those type of things, fouling when he's faced with adversity. His elbows against Hopkins, the sort of low blow against right the LOW BLOWS against Vargas and a few others. Trinidad was known for if he was in a rough time to resort to low blows.
But everybody loves Trinidad
I'll dig up that video of Zab talking like he's on crack if I can be arsed ('mayweather can't come to new york'... ::**) remind you of his bling bling teeth and basically his piss poor attitude in and out of the ring... thats why he's not liked... Its nothing to do with throwin 1 low blow at some one... Look at Rocky Marciano... he was dirty but he was a nice guy... he had class and charisma... Zab dosn't end of.

Well I agree that people need to get consistent. I didn't like this low blow, but I am also against any other intentional low blows.Quote:

I also see intentional fouls as part of one's character.
So yeah, I think people need to be consistent. If you don't have a problem with this intentional foul, then don't say you have a problem with others. And vice versa... you hate this one, hate all other intentionals.
Duran would do "anything" to win ;) but he is respected as well he should be.
Are you on crack or something? Where the f*ck do you get your "facts"? You are one BIASED boxing "fan". How many fights of Trinidad's career did you actually see? By the way, comparing Trinidad to your man Judah is like comparing prime rib to ripe old sh*t. The guy's a thug, a punk, and I can't wait till someone bitchslaps him into oblivion. Kostya Tszyu already did it, and PBF was on his way to doing it until the punk aimed at his nuts and then purposely whacked him on top of the head. The guy's a lowlife punk and belongs in jail.Quote:

You don't sound like one. I mean, I can take the criticism of Trinidad having trouble with "boxer types" (although I'll always insist that Oscar threw away their fight himself). But "having to resort to dirty tactics to win his fights? Excuse me if I don't nominate you for president of Tito's fan club just yet. Honestly, that's the most RIDICULOUS statement I have EVER heard. And you know it.
Don't be upset because you assumed I wasn't a fan of trinidad ;) Have I ever said I don't like Trinidad. or did I say if anyone wanted to address him, I want to bring up Trinidad vs. vargas ;) I was rooting for Trinidad aginst Vargas and DLH. Just didn't think his low blow of vargas was called for. But I never contested it did I ;) really you should ask me first before you assume I'm not a Trinidad fan
Look, for the record Starr, I seriously doubt Trinidad's low blow to Vargas was premeditated. Don't forget, Tito had floored Vargas twice already in the fight. The fight had its ebb and flow (that's why it was so great), but Tito didn't need the low blow to take control of the fight. Don't forget, Vargas retaliated SEVERAL times. The fight went on and Tito gradually established control, finally knocking Vargas out. That's all that need be said. And as for the rest of Tito's fights, the record speaks for itself. Most people enjoyed watching Trinidad because he always gave them an exciting show. And he was humble, and enjoyed fighting. That's more than can be said for more than a few fighters nowadays.......Quote:
