Believe it or not,I agree with you Starr(wow,that's twice in 2 days.something's up!),the reason the Zab fight did well was not so much because of Floyd OR jUDAH BUT THE whole hip-hop,badboy type image given to the fight. these days no one is a PPV star except oscar, I remember he got $15 million for fighting yory boy campas and $12 million for javier castilejo. this was one of the main reason why roy jones despises oscar.

If Trinidad becomes available, Oscar would take that fight before a PBF fight. There's more money there, and the revenge factor as well.

For PBF, if the Delahoya fight dont happen, and Mosley beats Vargas, that might be his next opponent. Him or Hatton. I dont see PBF fighting Margarito. There's just not enough money in it. Course, if Margarito really thinks he could beat Mosley or Hatton, he should take a fight w/ either of them, take a small purse to entice them to fight him, then by beating them, PBF would have to fight him for big $$$. Judah only made 100G to beat Spinks. Sometimes you gotta sacrifice now for the future.

The bottom line is dollars and cents. PBF cant make much against a fighter who, outside of us die hard fans, is not very popular with the average sports fan. A Mosley fight is a PPV. A Hatton fight is a PPV. Even a Judah rematch (please, no!) is a PPV. A Margarito fight is not, and PPV is where the money is.

First off number 2 ain't gonna happen, secondly yes it can be a PPV. Let Margarito beat the winner of Baldomir vs Gatti, then Floyd could try to unify the titles against Margarito and it would be a big event. Believe me if Jones(God bless him) vs Gonzalez was a PPV, Margarito vs Floyd could also be one.
