Feints. If you feint your head and your body you will make them throw the punch and when he throws the punch back you should already have something set up. You gotta be relax though because I use to throw whatever I had set up even if the guy feints the punch back. Then I would throw the punch even if the guy would throw to the body, so you gotta be on point with it. Now if he goes to the body I instantly throw a uppercut ( with no power) I will zip it up and hopefully snap his head back, then tighten his spine. Also do not close your eyes when you move your head ( another problem I had). Force you adversary into a position to make him throw a punch and since you already know the punch is coming move your head. Also do not move your head into the brick hand (right hand for othradox and left for southpaw) cause a sharpshooter will pick you a part. Look at Mayweather vs Mitchel. Shambra would move his head and use feint and as soon as he move his head into the brick hand Floyd would fire a skillful brick and Shambra would get hit every time.
my head movement comes mainly from the hips and the shoulders. the head stays where it is in regard to the shoulders. keep your chin down, and with head movement come up from a weave with a punch to counter.
