The good Dr makes a fair point, this division does lack quality, but that does not mean there is nothing to debate.
I think Calzaghe is by far the class of the division; but after that, it is very intresting to see who should be rated #1 contender to Joe.
Kessler has a statsically impressive record, but lacks the quality of opposition. Beyer is very flaky, Lacy looked to have the class, but the Calzaghe fight, showed his limitations.
I would put Kessler #1 contender, but that is purely by default, because everyone else has shown big flaws, while Kessler still has his '0'. But I have my doubts as to weather he is a legitmate top three fighter, even at Super Middleweight.... ;)
The Good Dr. will only watch Calzaghe, Kessler, and Lacy. ;D
