Lederman was right, Byrd won the 1st. The few body shots he landed were the most significant of the round. If you think Wlad really had his jab going at that point I'd suggest you watch again with the sound off. Byrd's downstairs work was clean, Wlad's jabs mostly hit gloves. It was the only rd he was even close to winning though.


Oh, and only someone named Klitfan could compare Wlad grabbing Byrd and pulling him into a bear hug every time he got inside the jab to Ali ::**

I hate to sound like I'm taking Byrd's side, I've never liked him, but it seems like everyone's all on Wlad's d!(k for beating someone we all knew he would.

Fair enough, I admit I thought Byrd would make it the distance and lose a lopsided decision, but who could've predicted Byrd would just stand in front of him?
I've never seen him fight like that.
