Bleak outlook.
Lyachovich took the McBride fight because Brewster was suffering the eye fwock.
McBride offered...he accepted.
Man...you peeps can't be pleased can ya...the above fights are sorting out the division.
Liakovich could have fought Sam Peter couldn't he? Make Peter's FNF a "tune up" to hype a potential fight between the two? I just want these guys to fight each other or bigger names at least.
Nope. Too short of notice. Lia was already set to fight Brewster. After that Peter was already signed to fight on FNF & Lia sure aint going to FNF when he can land a gig on HBO or Showtime against McBride.

He'd beat either one of them.
Honestly...the only one that I actually see giving him some issues...& you are all going to get a chuckle out of this one...Lyachovich.
For some reason...when he was beating Brewster down...I just saw something that made me think that he could do a bit of house cleaning in the division before he was done.
I was really really impressed with Wlad tonight though. REALLY.
i understand what you mean,
sergei can take head shots like crazy and big vladdy never throws body blows, i still think valuev would be a harder fight but i can see why you would say that tho
Re: Whats next for Wladimer?
The IBF will most likely do something stupid and make Wlad fight Ray Austin who's there highest ranked contender.

But after Lya beats Brewster. Can't he call out Sam Peter. Then we can get the talking, and Sam Peter has a fight coming up if Peter looks spectacular then it would hype that fight more right? Then they can fight each other with not to much training time lost for either fighter. It was very possible
Re: Whats next for Wladimer?
timor and sultan imbragimov ;D
Re: Whats next for Wladimer?
hahah it's not Satan
it's Sultan Ibragimov
yes, Wlad vs. Sultan would be wicked
Re: Whats next for Wladimer?
I've said this before, but boxing would be foolish not to hype a big Wladdy-Valuev matchup. It would be huge - the battle of the Eastern Bloc. Freak vs Boxer. It would also be relatively safe for Wlad, theres no way Valuev beats him, he didnt even have the power to beat Ruiz conclusively. Then Wlad unifies two titles and can sweep the rest of the division.
Re: Whats next for Wladimer?
Yes Wladimir VS Valuev would be a huge fight in Germany, lots of $$$.It would be a great matchup to see how Wladimir's power would affect Valuev's steel chin.
Wladimir VS Toney would go the same way as the Byrd fight I believe, because if you don't have size and power you aren't going to beat Wladimir.
Wladimir VS Rahman would also be an interesting fight, Rahman has a good jab but lacks the hand speed to catch Wladimir with a power shot.
I mainly wan't to see him unify the belts in any order against any of the current belt holders.

Its will not Valuev because he will fight next Beck . . .
Toney maybe but dont think . . . Toney would be same too like Bytd maybe . . .
I see Brewster as best rival for Wladimir right now . . . Brewster want be champ again and Wladimir want clear his cut with Brewster at re-macht but its can be Williamson,McCline or even Vidoz . . .
