If Vlad fights Ruiz, and not Valuev, Sergei, or Rahman, I will be upset. Although I would like to see Ruiz get KOd again, Vlad needs to unify. Anything less is shat! Ruiz needs to be banned from boxing, and try the WWE. He likes to grab men enough.
What if Ruiz won ;)
It wouldn't elevate Ruiz, only show that Vlad is a bum. With all the hugging, and rugged work, it's very possible that Ruiz could wear Vlad down. I just don't think that Ruiz deserves another shot. But, I also didn't think the Byrd-Vlad fight should happen. Vlad fights Valuev, The winner of Rock and Maskuev fights Sergei. Then the winners fight. Forget Toney and Brewster for now. Unify, and make the contenders fight for the first shot at the unified champ. Brewster fights Toney for the first crack.Quote:

Sam Peter is shit, you really want to see your boy destroyed this time around? I mean Wlad gained confidence as the fight went on...if Sam had ANY true skill don't you think he would have been able to keep Wlad down or make the ref stop the fight?
Sam is David Izon which means he might be able to hit every now and then but his skill is that of a drunk gorilla! He's slow and predictable, and will NEVER win a title....I fancy Valuev beating him too.
If there is a rematch though here's how it goes...1st round, Wlad stays behind the jab...throws the 1-2 more in the 2nd round, let's loose for 3-4 and the fight is stopped on the knockdown in the 5th that Sam can't get up from...huge left hook puts the Nigerian on his big fat ass

Theres some who dread the thought of that tall "milky" fighter taking the division.
:bawling: Break out the tissue bobo, that day has arrived

Well even if Ruiz beat Sultan he'd have to fight Wlad....and Ruiz sure as hell couldn't beat the Steelhammer!!!
:coolclick: Wlad is the best right now unfortunately!!!!as much as I hate Lewis the truth is Lennox could train for 9 mos fight Wlad and knock Wlad out silly... heavyweight division is as sad as it is ever been...I used to always be a huge heavyweight fan,but now there is so many exciting fighters in other weight classes(to many to name) that I would rather watch....right now I could give 2 s#$ts about the heavyweights!!!!! cause that division is in the :flush: :looroll:Quote:

Truthfully, there is some good heavy talent out there right now and after watching the Brewster...Liahovich fight I don't see how anyone could complain.
That was one of the best heavy fights I have seen in a long time.
It was really impressive to see two guys with that much heart get in there and slug. A true war of attrition that night.
The problem with the heavies is that there are fighters out there that hide under King, and other promoters and they choose who they will fight. They are shielded from threats.
Say what you will about Wlad but he takes on heavy punchers, he takes on fast guys, he takes on anyone.
I can't say the same for a lot of the other heavies out there.
CC True that, Wlad has always been a specimen and a blueprint for a big man,its hard not to be bitter toward the heavies lets face it that is were the most corruption by the sanctioning bodies and promoters are,and its always been that way, we probably didnt mind that much before cause we were entertained by the matchups...Now its just a sad affair so sad that anyone who scores a string of KO'S we are hailing as the next Messiah..It's a shamethat Tyson,Holyfield,Bowe,Lewis,McCall etc. have to get oldQuote:

It's boxings only hope, this guy needs to get hurt, Wlad can't just batter the bum sensless or beat him, he needs to take his head off and end this guys dismal career. If Wlad can succesfully retire Byrd and Ruiz in a few months, well that's doing the division a big favour and I don't have any problems with it. ;D
I think he'll garner more respect if he really destroys Ruiz because people will WANT to watch it for nothing other than seeing a HUGE ass whippin on the world's most hated fighter!!!
I hope we don't ever have to endure a Wlad fight against Ruiz. They would show more affection than a teenage couple on prom night.
CC on that statement.Quote:
