This really doesn't show anything about Tito or DLH being better since they should be fighting at 147, 154 and not 160. Trinidad looked TERRIBLE against Winky but again it's not really a fair fight so it takes nothing away from the great fighter Trinidad is. I know Oscar would do better against him though...though he would still lose.

at least oscar chose to fight hopkins even after seeing what hopkins did to trinidad. tito clearly thought just like a lot of people that since wright doesn't have a punch he could knock him out.

Hey, I know Oscar's fans won't like this, but Oscar can beat PFB and ride off into the sunset on his white horse. But there's one thing he'll never get off his record and will never get payback for:
His loss to Tito in the biggest fight of his life, not in Puerto Rico where he could blame partisan judges, but in Las Vegas, close to his own backyard and in front of thousand of screaming, adoring fans. That thorn will always be sticking into his side. (Heh, heh).
Tito fan...Oscar beat Mayorga's a** & outboxed him. You have to admit Oscar did a better job because Mayorga came to Oscar to fight...he didn't against Tito. He just stood there & let him hit him.
Don't let your love of P.R. cloud your judgement...Oscar beat Mayorga...& he beat Tito...& if Tito steps up again...he'll get beaten...AGAIN. ;D

I'm not saying that you were trying to start anything nor did I mean that Mayorga didnt show up to fight...but he didnt attack Tito the way that he did Oscar. He didnt show Oscar the same ring respect that he showed Tito.
He tried to hop on Oscar & it cost him...dearly. The same will go for Tito. Most Tito fans, in restrospect, know how to score a fight...everyone knows that Oscar had that fight in the bag.
The second shot...if there is one...Tito will lose.

I must say,I was over excited when Oscar beat Mayorga but now,we must remember that Oscar did choose someone he was confident he could beat,it was the manner of the victory that was astonishing nonethless it should not be used as a measuring stick for a future fight with Tito or Floyd and you are also ABSOLUTELY 100% correct,if Oscar tried to go toe to toe with Tito,I'm sorry but he would get koed,and I am saying this as a big fan of both.

Trinidad never took rematches against fighter who beat him, didn't even pursue it. He is willing to come out of retirement go down to 154 or catch weight for peanuts, to beat a fighter he dominated but won't fight oscar for millions and to exonerate his biggest win from controversy. At least oscar rematched mosley whether u believe he won or lost and also has been calling out trinidad for years. whenever tito loses and is humiliated in a fight he wants no part of that fighter. Objective minds know Oscar won the trinidad fight only eggheads will say Tito won.
by the way Oscar has already fought oba carr, and ppl recognize oscar as a better fighter than tito, not because oscar fought tito's leftovers but because he dominated and embarrased tito, because isn't one-dimensional like tito, and because he never got a one-sided beating like tito (also not once but twice)

1. The record shows a VICTORY of Tito over Oscar. And it was in Las Vegas, Oscar's backyard. I guess the judges didn't take too kindly to Oscar's running like the bitch from hell. To Oscar's ever-lasting dissapointment, he'll have that memory the rest of his life.
2. Oscar, unlike Tito, has ALWAYS hand-picked his opponents. He fought an over-the-hill Chavez. He fought a shot Vargas. He fought a shot Mayorga.
3. Oscar, unlike Tito, cherishes his Golden Boy image much too much. Tito just enjoyed fighting. Love him or hate him, he always came to fight whoever they put in front of him. Oscar is all about legacy. Tito was all about the sheer joy of fighting.
So get off my case chami-boy.
If tito loves to fight and the thrill of it, why is he retired again????? why does he after getting beaten?
