And as far as styles make fights yes you are right certain styles clash but that is never really a strong excuse because a good-great fighter can overcome theses things and if he can't then he must not be as good-great as he or his fans thought.If he can't get past that style are his chances any higher that he could get past mayweathers. I don't think so. If your a fan thats cool,if you got faith in him thats cool too but thats all you can have is faith and hope because nothing in his past shows that he can beat mayweather and thats my point.

Margarito is not "begging",he just wants to fight someone he thinks he can beat. I'm a fan but I know the odds will be stacked against him. What do you mean if he can't get past that stlye? Yes he throws long punches but what makes him difficult to fight against are the weird angles,the amount that are thrown etc. and he has shortened them..the Benitez fight,he threw short ones against Kyvelos and the long ones are punches which you don't see coming,they are the ones that hurt.

I never said tony wasn't his biggest threat at that weight because now that judahs gone he is but I think the threat is weak. You keep saying my analogy failed but you missed the point which is adaptability. Santos and floyd have two different styles but whos do you think is easier to figure? I would say santos but tony couldn't do that. So if he can't figure out a style like that you expect him to be able to figure out a style for the most part hes never encountered. Hes never fought anyone like floyd and you expect him out of all people to figure floyd out. Will he be competiive? Yes but is this the man to solve the puzzle that is pbf? No, I just don't see it.

Here you go again. Floyds record and opposition is not in question here. Especailly not in the case of tony. To even try to compare there records is pointless. Floyd fought and beat better fighters in his first three years than tony will beat in his whole career.

Fair enough,you have valid points and CC for those points..they are legitimate but I just see PBF looking at Margarito and thinking WOAH,a bigger stronger Castillo type pressure fighter,that I could do without!! Again,I say Santos fight was always going to be diffcult because of the way they fight.....you cannot solve a style such as that simply because whenever Margarito came forward to attack,they would butt heads!! I was very impressed with how he hurt the 170 pounds Santos to the body though! Now you are just putting words into my mouth....I didn't say he would figure out Floyd but I do say he will give him a challenge he has not had since Castillo!! That was a heck of a long time ago!!!
In relation to your second post,you said earlier that why would Tony want to fight someone smaller than him,well I was merely stating that Floyd has fought these Mitchell Brusseles type of fighters so now it's time to step it up. I did not make a comparison of whom they have fought simplY because there is no need to,I am overly critical of Floyd because as supposed P4P number,you must prOve you are the best by fighting those that are dangerous IE MARGARITO!!!!

Legally and Principly either Margarito or Baldamir should have the first right to fight Mayweather for his title. However, boxing is now mostly controlled by unethical cable networks who are only interested in making more money. Which is why you guys are taking it so personally when Margarito fans logically question Mayweather.
Yeah, it sucks that he's more of a business man, but what the hell can you do? Nothing. Maybe Margarito deserves to fight Mayweather, but like I said boxing ain't built on deserve. If Mayweather wants to fight Oscar then so be it. Oscar is a much tougher match anyway.
The only reason people are bitching in Mayweather's favor is because there is a grand myth to how good Margarito is. He's good, but not good enough to throw a fit about.

Cry all you want about Tony not getting a shot. He deserves it, yes. But he won't and can't win against Floyd, so it doesn't really matter. Hopefully they do fight, and people will realize they were smoking some bad stuff when they thought Tony had a chance against Floyd.

Honestly after hearing all the hype I was thinking well maybe Floyd might have some trouble he's a big dude, but so was Corrales (and I don't rate Margayrito nearly as high as Chico)
When you watch the youtube videos of Tony, he's always bullrushing people, completely open for a shot. What makes him look dangerous is all his opponents up to date have been bums who don't know how to take advantage of that. Can't blame the guy for talking S*** and trying to get a payday, I probably would too.
While Floyd may not be able to punish Tony like he did Gatti at 140, his feather punching at welterweight will still be enough to keep Margarito at bay all night me thinks
