I think Cotto has a decent chin, Torres is a devastating puncher, and he was connecting flush on target many a time. Cotto was kind of rocked but he ABSORBED the blow quite well. I think he has a good chin!
He certainly has the power to K.O Hatton, Mayweather and Castillo.
However i worry if he has the skill to beat PBF. Floyd seems a level above cotto in terms of skill, PBF actually has said that.
I think cotto has a chance to beat them three abovd, he certainly has a CHAMPIONS HEART!
Do you guys think Cotto could do well at 147 and do you think Hatton can get better there??
Excellent points brother,CC,exactly how I see it,Cotto took shots from a banger and came back aaaaaand the knockdown was a push.It does not show he has a weak chin at all,quite the opposite.I think what detractors mean to say and I agree,is that in that fight,his DEFENCE was poor,not his chin!Quote:

HAtton beat KT fair and square and I belive he was the only man at 140 to be able to do it.
I wouldnt call Kostya into play though regarding who Cottos met and who he hasnt.
Kostya fought one fight too many and lost it becuase giving the best thats out there a shot is what all real champs do.
His best was in his prime like any fighter.
Just like J C when Kostya fought him and won, I wondered if that would have been the case when JC was in his prime (I think not).
What I like about Hatton / Cotto is that they are matched and their styles wont clash into a boring fight as they are in their prime and ready.
Would be a tradgedy to boxing history if one or the other avoided it.
Cotto can not bang with anybody except a guy with 5 knockouts in 25 fights....
If he was to exchange with hatton...bye cotto....
Hell i think a guy with 13 or 12 knockouts...(collazo) would even sit cotto down in an exchange....
Cotto knocks guys out that dont fight back...Torres fought back and look what happend and torres was out of shape....
