just because raheem beat an underprepared unmotivated morales does it mean he'll destroy pacquiao. he's overrated and will succumbed to pacquiao's pressure if ever they do faced each other, especially at super featherweight.

Toooooootally agree KK,CC. We saw Zahir against Freitas and he was outhustled, well Pacman, would be like a buzzsaw!! He would pressure pressure pressure and when Raheem holds on,you can see Pac landing an uppercut, combos etc. PAC is not stupid,he learnt his lesson from the first EM fight, and I think he will prepare sufficiently for every fight and I don't think he is the eype of guy to think fights ahead,he takes it 1 at a time. He will beat Larios, and then hopefully,EM will beat him!! ;D

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
this fight is possible but has a very little chance to happen...
first of all...
pac's current list includes
larios
morales III
barrera II (for a title!!)
- he needs to close this chapter of his career first before even thinking a fight with floyd...
2nd
considering the big possibility of many beating barrera and being the new champ...
will he and floyd be that stupid to vacate their respective titles just to entertain us?!!!
3rd
i also think this fight could happen only if floyd losses to ODH
and pac losing to MAB
- this will ressurect the career of either one of them and will possibly end the fame and hype of the other...
now comments on the fight...(if it happens)
boxing is mainly about cleverness, power, speed, chin and heart....
other factors such as stamina, height, reach etc.. are subordinates...
the only main advantage of floyd is his boxing IQ.. we all know his one of the smartest of all time..
he and pac may have the same speed.
about the chin and heart... ill give pac the edge..
chin
- the only guy who scored a knockdown against floyd was carlos hernandez
- carlos hernadez fought EM, morales shook-off his best punches
does morales had a granite chin? hell yeah! outstanding chin.. he even absorb raheems right...
- now look whos the first fighter who koed EM? coincidence? PAC
remember round2 of the pac-EM2?
*whos the harder puncher pac or hernandez?
*if hernandez knockdowned floyd, how about pac?
*since pac fought at the big stage against the elites, did he ever hit the canvass?
power
-pac is one of the hardest hitters in any weight division, he has a one punch power
morales and barrera are just too tough and brave that they lasted for long against him..
-floyd doesnt have a one punch ko... back at his superfeatherweight days, he all won by TKO..
-pacs ideal weight at fightime is 142... that means eating a lot after the official weigh-in... that means its not muscle but just baggage for stability... if he adds another 5 pounds of muscle that means more power more speed...
-floyd will go down from 147 to 135, that means smaller and less muscles thus lesser power...
hell just be his old self if he fights pac at 135, only with additional experiences...
back at the days when hes at 130, he does TKO his opponents, mainly due to the stoppage of the opponents cornermen or the referee... so does he have real power?! its just the barrage of punches that made him such a ko artist...
*can pac take his punches? hell yeah..
*can he take pacs power? questionable
heart
-you know whos more relentless
so to all who are saying that this is a bad fight(will this ever happen?) for pac, think again...
i dont want my boy floyd to take this, hell gain nothing against the high risk...
he must concentrate on fights that wont cause a loss like suicide...
like the upcoming ODH fight, both of them surely wins.

great point cc for that..adding to what you have pointed out...pac sparrs against welterweights too and yes he drops them like flys...what floyd had always have against his oppenent was speed pac can match that plus pac is relentless...so what else is their for floyd...the weight? we don't know for sure because it could be worst draining himself to go down 135 then pac coming up...so what about pacs defence? can floyd stop pac for 12 rounds because pac has continues head movement side to side a new look for floyd...and pacs offence has proven to much for his oppenents....
...HIGH RISK FOR FLOYD LOW REWARD not a bad fight for PAC but a bad fight for floyd...i'd love to see this happen...

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
Nice !
I reckon if it went ahead that Mayweather would maybe shade a win

There is no way this will happen.....But if it doesssss Mayweather UD.

Raheem didn't give Morales the kind of punishment Pacman gave him. I don't think Raheem can do to Pacman what he did to Morales because Pacman is much faster than Morales. Besides, Pacman's aging compatriot Luisito Espinosa knocked down Raheem twice in one fight, although he (Espinosa) eventually lost in that fight; what more can a younger and much stronger Pacman can do to Raheem.

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
paquio is too little ....
if morales can outbox Pacman Floyd will easily especially w/ the size difference ...the only reason Paquio should do it is the Money

The reason morrales finished the fight on his feet against raheem, was because emmanuel steward said Zahir wasn't committing to his punches...and PAC stronger than Raheem? I think not, and he doesn't have anywhere near the same skills as Raheem and would be beaten soundedly....

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
this has got to be the most ridiculous thing I've heard lately whether its true or pure rumor. I won't even comment on who I think would win because there is not way this fight happens or should happen. Floyd shouldn't starve himself down to 135 and Manny is not a big guy and and 135 would require him trying to gain weight....forget about it.

Strange, there seems to be almost no question in the boxing world today that Pacman has the biggest punch around his weight classes - remember, Zahir is less than an inch taller than Pac and he was fighting at 126 in 2004 against Juarez where he lost; so he is clearly in the class of Pacman when it comes to weight. Going back to the power issue, their records clearly show who is stronger - Raheem has a only 59% KO record against Pacman's 80%, not only that, Raheem hasn't knocked out any notable opponent in his career, whereas Pacman KO'd almost all, if not all, fighters who chose to fight toe-to-toe with him. Experts may err (although most seem to agree that Pac is the biggest puncher in his weight classes), but records don't lie.

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
did you actually see the fight against juarez..where they were fighting in texas, with a texas ref, and two texas judges, oh did i mention juarez is from TEXAS....the ref took points from Zahir for resting his hand behind the shorter fighters neck during the clinches...its not like he was holding and hitting...they robbed zahir...and if you knew anything about raheem you'd know that he was starving himself to make 126 that why as soon as he got to a weight more suitable for him he kicked morrales' ass...pacman can punch but he is far too under skilled for a fighter like raheem let along dream of beating PBF...oh did i mention they (raheem and floyd) were on the same olympic team and sparred together...too much skill..he'd lose..

if you call hitting and running and looking like a fool just to dodge a punch then yea raheem is skilled...raheems awfull balance will get him knock dah eff out by pac...it takes more skill and strenght to knock a$s out then hitting once and getting the fuk out of their...raheem has one good win in his resume thats against a unmotivated morales who came up in weight...to much skill ha thats and overstatement...but keep thinking that way...
as for floyd his good but lets not doubt pac...it takes one flush left to say goodnight to floyd...it'll take 12 rounds to survive pac...all of pacs fight is brutal I'd love to see floyd in with pac...a drain floyd will have a hard time against pac...look at it this way...they own their division pac will win in 130 floyd will win in 140 lets go on and see who'll win in 135...floyd ain't god don't be surprise he get knock the fuk out too...

That's exactly why I was suggesting Pacman face Raheem first before even entertaining the thought of fighting PBF. That should settle all the lesser issue about the Pac and Zahir before going to the the bigger issue regarding Floyd. FYI, Zahir is only half inch taller than Pac and he even said after the Morales fight that he won't mind going down to 130lbs to fight (I don't remember if he mentioned any particular fighter) because that's where the money is. About the Juarez fight, I don't see how a unanimous decision can be a robbery, and the scorings was not even close except one judge who gave 2 points for Juarez; usually a fighter is represented by a judge acceptable to his handlers and so the 'robbery' usually takes the form of a split decision, just like the Juarez-Barrera fight, as some say (although I may not agree on this one either). Enough of my talk, but don't you want to see Raheem fighting Pacman? I do.

This is a joke... The only thing worse is I remember once on here there was a thread of NAs vs Pernel Whittaker at lightweight, and it went on for 6 pages with many arguements both ways.. This is similar.

Pac doesn't have a prayer.
Far too one-dimensional and predictable for a boxer like Floyd. He'll counter the left straight all night.

as for floyd his good but lets not doubt pac...it takes one flush left to say goodnight to floyd...it'll take 12 rounds to survive pac...all of pacs fight is brutal I'd love to see floyd in with pac...a drain floyd will have a hard time against pac...look at it this way...they own their division pac will win in 130 floyd will win in 140 lets go on and see who'll win in 135...floyd ain't god don't be surprise he get knock the fuk out too...
wait wait wait...so 147 pound chop chop lands flush floyd is still standing...147 pound judah lands flush floyd is still standing...but you say if 126 pound pac lands its goodnight to floyd? Maybe you've been hit by too many straight lefts...floyd and raheem both would stop pacman...
zab drop floyd and hurt floyd to the body...but got tired and didn't finish him...chop chop caught floyd a few times but not solid enough...he wasn't that fast...at 135 floyd will be drain and weak...pac sparrs with welterweights and he drops them...floyd outlast his oppenents and if theirs one person that can match him in stamina its pac...pac body punches will wear a drain floyd a str8 left can end him...don't doubt pac...his been doubted ever since 126 in the match with barrera then in morales and look his k.o'ed both of them...pac is still young still improving all his fight is brutal...as for raheem...he won't be fighting a cautious freatis or a unmodivated morales...his coming in with a brutal pacman...it won't be nothing easy raheem would run all day his bad balance would get him hurt with a quick multiple puncher pacman...now raheem who!!!

Jabs a little bigger and probably punches a bit harder. IMO

Maybe you should watch the PBF v Judah fight again..did you see a knockdown or did you see a balance shot? But if you're a anti-pbf then you saw a knockdown...yeah it could have been called a knockdown because his glove touch the canvas but floyd wasn't hurt... point is it wasn't a real knockdown whether it was called or not...and chop caught floyd flush with a straight left hand and floyd took it standing up...just like he always has... it's funny because floyd never been knocked down and seriously hurt, i haven't seen one punch knockout power by pac its more of the number of punches that wears his opponents down...if he doesn't have one punch knockout power at 126 or 130...how do you figure he'll ko floyd with one punch? because he for damn sure ain't outboxing floyd..and if you think that pac hits harder than zab, corrales, castillo, chavez, chop-chop, then you're seriously delusional...

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
he had one punch power at 122 and 126 not 130 though and certainly he wouldn't at 135

I I think Pacman would knock out plenty of folks at 135 but hit as hard as a natural 140 lbs puncher like Judah. Probably not , Now that’s not to say that Pacman couldn’t land a punch and cause Zudah to do the dead mans dance. Pac commits to a punch when throws it .

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
I'm not sure Pacquiao could take shots from the bigger Judah ;) Pacquiao has issues with bigger fighters. But this is about Pacquiao and Mayweather... I dont think Manny would have a chance in that

I agree ! Mayweather eats his lunch, and I think Zab is too big for Pac also . but Pac fairs much better vs. Zab then he do Floyd. Judah's legs do funny things when he gets hit solid. and Zab makes more mistakes thorough the course of 12 rounds which gives Pac more opportunities.

Re: Floyd Mayweather Junior wants Manny Pac(that's what it says!)
ASK THE TRAINER
my goodness!!!
i really cant figure out why you guys have that stupid idea that the size of the body frame counts more than the % of lean muscles mass?!
cmon its just the bones not muscles!!!
need a little physiology in here...
-muscles are the tissues responsible for power and speed!!!
your skeletal system just serves as an attachment to your muscles,
thus the amount of muscle mass you can add depends on the size (length and girth) of your bones....
so i really cant figure it out why you guys kept on bashing on boxers who has small body frames and is fighting a bigger opponent...
most of you guys dont really box in reality right? ???
ok,
pac is fighting at the 130 limit...
but come fight night, he weighs around 142...
- adding those weight in a rush is a strategy used by trainers to add stability on their fighters chin and knees... it also helps a bit on the body shots absorb by the body...
the heavier you are = the more stable you are
the lighter you are = the less stable you are
*when you get hit
(this is so logical, you dont have to be good in physics to get the point)
pac adds 12 pounds after the official weigh in - it is not muscle
now hes fighting at 135 - that means +5 in training, +7 after the weigh in
yes, that is another 5 pounds of pure muscle, means more power and speed
its also true that a ko punch is inborn and is usually a special 'gift'....
cuz if not then every boxer in the world may possess a ko punch right now...
the other point here is that boxers who looks thin at the weigh in doesnt really fit the division.
they are forcing themselves in a crash diet and starvation just to make the weight limit...
why? because they are fuckin coward!!!
they want to fight smaller opponents!!!
cuz they really dont possess the punching power and the chin to last against opponents with the same size as they are...
example? look at
morales - he never koed anyone at 130 (opponents near his size)... barrera, hernandez, in jin chi...
not even against ayala who is really small in stature... his koes mostly came from his 122
pounds and below - days where he is just too big for everybody... he cant even ko pac who
as we all know is a natural featherweight...
- but consider morales's frame, if he bulks up with 'real muscles', he'll surely be at the 140-147
division... do you think he can last for atleast 8 rounds against floyd, cotto, or even corrales?
i dont think so... we dont think so..
castillo - we all know the trouble hes in now for not making the weight limit against corrales...
he said he is really too big to be a lightweight... but why the hell he is forcing himself at the
division if he is? cuz hes another coward!!!
- remember that he wants to fight corrales with him weighing 139. thats bullshit!!! if you want
to weigh the weight that you prefer then fight someone of the same weight!!! cuz he knows
the the likes of cotto are waiting up there thats why...
even pac did fight smaller opponents when hes at the 108-115 limit...
he was so damn thin!!! yah he was fast...
but the punches? his record? kazoomm!!!!
12 wins - 1 loss - 4 ko
8 by decision
all TKOes by the way...
one due to a stoppage because of a cut,
3 is due to exhaution by his opponents because of the pace...
since he put on those shoulders and biceps...
his record
41 wins - 3 losses - 2 draws - 32 ko
only one win that is not a ko since the first loss - amazing
lesson:
dont look up on coward fighters, their fooling you
respect smaller fighters cuz their the real force plus their good for boxing
ala mike tyson 5'9", 95% pure muscle
floyd mayweather jr. - the smartest boxer in the world
36 wins - 24 ko
undeafeated
started as a super featherweight..
won by TKO 22 out of 24 times..
see? TKO... my boy aint got the power pac has... even in his super featherweight days, hes not a 1 punch ko artist...
plus he needs to lose weight... it will affect his chin, stamina, speed, POWER.........
bad fight!!! i hope its really impossible.
