that's it i'm done predicting JT fights...i say sturm beat him and wacko has be all tachnical and tell everyone that taylor won..
i though bhop and winky beat him but hbo has be all technical and say he can't lose now it too early and we don'thave a replacement boy...
I can't predict anymore taylor fights because my eyes aren't trained well enough to see the invisible power shots that jermain keeps landing on everyone...

and when did cotto get a gift decision? i saw cotto in trouble of being stopped by torres but, he turned it around stopped torres fights so what fights are speaking of?
when in the hell did roy jones get a gift decision? all of his victories except two were blowouts...bhop and tarver 1...and bhop said he knew he lost anyway so that couldn't be a robbery...
and I know you didn't even attempt to say that bhop got gift decisions...over who? and if hbo had a chance to take a fight from BHOP they would have a long time ago...that's when he finally got into a fight where his margin of victory wasn't that great they gave it to the other guy (jermain)
and the only questionable PBF fight is castillo 1..and PBF did the gentleman thing and gave Luis a rematch and clearly beat him to erase the so-called gift decision...

for cotto, demarcus corley had him in clear trouble until out of the blue, the ref stops the fight. PBF is all speed and nothing else. If he ever gets hit, hes hurt. RJJ never did anything in his career but run from the opponent. When he finally stood still long enough to test his chin, tarver Ko'd him and you talk about hbo's boy, RJJ was the posterchild of HBO. People like you, that means I can read your comments and know your way of thinking which is excuse maker. They talk alot but dont ever get anything worth while accomplished. Sorry, thats what I read. Me on the other hand, I tell it like it is no matter how bad or how good, thru thick and thin the truth prevails so you should try it. I'm not here to make friends, just call it what it is and the fight was truely a draw no matter what anyone says.

I thought Taylor lost today and against Hopkins. He was highly competitive in all three fights though and can't be said to lack balls given the quality of the guys he's fought. Sturm in most people's opinions outboxed Oscar in a competitive fight. Apart from Oscar (who's not any sort of middleweight) who's on Sturm's pro resume?
Do you think he gets the sparring and training that a guy like Taylor can get? Taylor can spar with world class guys in American gyms whenever he wants. He can pay all manner of money for the best sparring partners because he's a major PPV investment for HBO.
You've got to be careful about putting too much faith in amateur results esoecially where American guys or 'next big thing' PPV fighters are concerned. All you could hope for is some enduring psychological advantage as in Lewis-Bowe.
US fighters are often beaten in the Olympics for several reasons. They don't stay amateur for as long as Eastern Europeans. They come forward more (the Cubans seem to be the only ones mature and polished enough to attack in the amateurs without being outpointed by eastern european runners).
The structure of pro boxing in the states sees a great deal of improvement from boxers once they turn pro. Kelson Pinto beat Cotto convincingly in the amateurs and was destroyed when they fought each other. There are many more examples of this.
Sturm is a good fighter but I don't think he gives Taylor as many problems as Wright. He is orthodox, so he won't throw Taylor's jab an offense off, he looks a good deal smaller than Taylor and he's not anymore of a puncher than Wright.
If Sturm can shut out Abraham, I'll start to get more excited about him.

cotto stopped chop-chop..he didn't get a gift decision...and roy jones never got his victories handed to him....you know that Roy jones was 36 "when he finally slowed down enough to be hit", and to say that he went his whole career 16 years without having his chin checked...you must not realize that you've just given roy jones a complement...it took 16 years to hit him? he didn't get gift decisions, PBF is all skill, the speed is incidental...
and you still haven't given and example where either of them were given a fight...let alone three fights in which they clearly lost...
you don't tell anything like it is...and nobody care about making friends because they believe Taylor lost...he lost...i saw it ringside and on TV and he really lost once i saw it on TV it looked worse than it did in person...
