I love European fighters but I gotta say they choose the worst fucking music lol. But I also hear Elvis is still huge over there, so go figure.
That's right Raleights, all European countries are the same ethnically, religiously, nationally and culturally. We all love german techno-pop and Italian dance music etc so it makes perfect sense to lob them all together. We all have bad teeth and our women all have hairy pits.Quote:

Elvis is as big as he ever was, and always will be because he was a pretty good singer. You are also right to imply that nothing at all of any musical significance has ever come out of Europe, so we are bound to just follow the US lead on things like music. In fact, I am pleasantly surprised you even know where Europe is on a map!
;D
Why, oh why, oh why do I always bite at the gently lobbed fly-fishing-type lures you elegantly whizz onto this forum.??
It is the blue-writing monster within me, which doth mock the meat it feeds on :)
I always wanted to go to that famous restaraunt in Europe............Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm what was it called??Quote:

A World where Skynrd is considered gay and shitty rap music is considered good is not a world I want to live in anymore.
Mayorga had a good song in his last outing. "Los Faboulous Cadillacs" with "Matador". No gay there.
Once again I don't see myself being intelligent enough to give a real response to your blue textQuote:

I think that having Ring Entrance music is a huge fuckin joke!!!
I thought it was the funniest thing in the world when Corey Spinks had that HUGE entrance to the Ring with Nelly Rapping his ass off all the way to the Ring to see Corey take an ass beating from Zab...
Naseem used to kill me with his entrances....
All this crap is useless, Throw away the stinking Rap music entrances...It dont mean that the guy comming out to it is any harder than the song....
What you should ask is,
Where are all the hard ass fighters at???
Whatever happened to fighters over the past 20+ years amazes me...
The days of Boom-Boom Jr., "Little Red" Lopez(THE BADDEST FIGHTER OF ALL TIME!!), "Smokin Joe", Hagler....Etc, Etc...I am not saying we dont have some tough fighters out there, but I am saying that we have fallen way short in some areas....
Lets bring back some bad ass fighters and get rid of all the musical sideshows!!!!
Good Luck,
Coach
You recieve a cool click for that my friend!Quote:

The closest thing to him would be a prime Michael Jackson before he got all wierd, I would say right after Thriller he was at an Elvis type level.
Entrance music doesn't dictate the fight in any way shape or form but guys could use it to sandbag an opponent, imagine a prime Mike Tyson walking to the ring with The Benny Hill Show theme song playing.
Roberto Duran was a badass, he had a Panamanian band play during the fight some times
OR KID DIAMOND WALKING IN TO STAYIN ALIVE....LOL ;D
I will survive :P
lmao this forum really does change youQuote:

Elvis would outweigh Buddy considerably, and don't forget that Holly had bad eyes. Elvis UD ;DQuote:

I don't know the singer you are talking about, but is 'southern rock' the same as 'country'?
Lynard Skynard did simple man and they are considered rock rather than country. Southern rock because Skynards music deals alot with swamps, hound dogs, discrimination, and poor boy blues.
Song for song Lynard skynard and CCR had more eternal hits than than even great bands like the stones, beatles, who and Jehtro tull.
Skynyrd is awesome and its cool that he came out to that.Quote:

The beatles are the most notable pop band of all time........
although they seemed to discover more of an LSD inspired Rock sound in the late 60's (ie The white album) and that is when they finally got their S*** together IMO.
IHO Jethro Tull are/were not a great band. Even if they did win the grammy for "Best Metal Band" ;D The Stones, CCR, and Skynyrd are truly great bands though. The Rolling Stones rocked despite having a freaky little queer as their lead singer, I mean Jaggar is a great singer, but his little dances and behavior has been less than bad ass.Quote:

Elvis was a revolutionary talent in his time. I really wouldn't comapre one singer today to him.Quote:

I wouldn't go as far as to say that he's a little fag but I will say that the rest of that band should definitely be fronted by Axl.
He was way way way better.
If one of them doesn't OD first, they'll mature and start to lose earning potential. Then they'll come to their senses and reunite just as all former greats have.
I agree GNR and STP were both 20x better than Velvet Revolver
Axel wrote a completely racist song, knowing Slash is half black so I doubt we'll ever see GNR together again. Still it's better than most the shit thats out there right now, which isn't saying much ::**
CCR may be confused with southern rock but they are from CALIFORNIAQuote:

Just seen ZZ Top not too long ago, they still have a great sound and are good showman. They're getting up there in age, hopefully they'll call it quits when they can't deliver a good live performance anymore. I've always been a fan of the Stones but they're fucking up by continueing with their career. Poor Keith can barely play anymore, Jagger forgets half the words to his songs and hits all the wrong notes. Like seeing Roy Jones get knocked out :)
Drugs are bad mkay
How about Pantera or some Hatebreed something that makes the crowd go into a frenzy!!!!Back in October I was at a UFC event at The Mohegan sun in Ct and Arlovski came out to some Hatebreed and I wanted to punch the guy in the face that was next to me the whole arena was going nutz it was awsome
