Re: Most Dramatic Commentating Moment..
Mr. Wacko's live coverage here of a boxing event. It gave me a different kind of thrill that I've never tasted before. And the enthusiastic reactions of some of the members here who didn't have the live coverage of the event on their tv screens in their areas added to the excitement.
Re: Most Dramatic Commentating Moment..
Not dramatic but Barry McGuigans commentary of Benn Eubank 1 is one I always remember.
"I hate to say I told you so......But I said it would be a late rounds stoppage for Eubank..........And Im right"
;D

Re: Most Dramatic Commentating Moment..
To me hands down it is Oscar De LaHoya Vs Fernando Vargas.
Jim Lampley
"BIG LEFT HOOK" *bell rings*
"DOWN GOES VARGAS ON ANOTHER ROCKET LEFT HOOK A SENSATIONAL LEFT HOOK BY DE LA HOYA"
"So much desire in Fernando Vargas BUT A BETTER FIGHTER IS BEATING HIM NOW!"
"this would be the most satisfing momment for Oscar De laHoya's carrer if he can finish this guy, if he can make Fernando Vargas eat his words *Oscar rallies with left and rights to Vargas face* If he CAN KNOCK HIM OUT * ref steps in n waves it off* AND HE DOES OSCAR DE LAHOYA!!"
Re: Most Dramatic Commentating Moment..
Yes that was great. But the way he dug into history in the Lewis Rahman fight.
"Rahman.. jab jab jab jab jab jab jab, chases Lewis across the ring." Rahman lands the right on Lennox Lewis "AND KNOCKS HIM DOWN WITH A THUNDERBULT OF A RIGHT HAND!!! SHADES OF OLIVER MCCALL , SEPTEMBER 1997 IN LONDON!! HAS RAHMAN PULLED THE UPSET HE HAS!! WE GOT A BRAND NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION AND HE'S FROM THE UNITED STATES!!"
