Look man, I understand that you are a fan of Wlad and all that but for you to defend that fight is just crazy. He beat the S*** out of Peter? Woa, that's a pretty silly thing to say. Like I said, I was a fan of Wlad myself even after he lost to Brewster and Sanders but I do not want to see him win like that. He's better than that IMO. Again you say that all these other guys did it so I guess that makes ok, huh? Boxing is not UFC or wrestling. There are different rules here so if that's what you're into you're watching the wrong sport.

here we go again everyone hating on Wlad...well hate on him all you want it won't make Sam Peter a good fighter he's fat, slow, and he hits people behind the head which is why he has so many KO's.
You guys might want a rematch to see Wlad get beat but he won't Sam hasn't learned a goddamn thing and neither have his trainers, they think beating Julius Long is going ot teach him how to BOX tall rangey fighters??? BAH!

Wlad is easily the most skilled heavy fighter out there right now. It's plain as day for anyone who even remotely knows this division.
If you just can't stand the guy, then by all means bash away, but if you say things to insinuate that Peter is a better fighter, or if you even think that maybe Peter won that fight, then you're going to come off as an ignorant boob who knows little about the division and you should expect to be treated that way.

Why is Toney fighting S. Peter when he had the chance to fight for a title against Wlad?
What happened to his “I will clean out the heavyweight division within 18 monts”? You don’t clean out a division by fighting other contenders.

I don't have the numbers for the Peter fight but when I had the oppurtunity to speak to Toney when I was in Vegas covering Fatstilo/Corrales 3 and he said that Wlad's folks weren't offering enough money . Apparently Peter's ppl are .
Stylistically , Peter has a style that Toney can beat if he comes in the type of shape he was for Holyfield . Wlad is a nightmare for anyone with his size and power . I think James knows that .

No I doubt Toney , too. He was offered 1.5 for Wlad . Not sure what he is getting for Peter .

I feel that if Toney had even half the money offered from Wlad's camp that he would take it, if it meant getting a world title...I think Toney is flat out scared of Wlad(Even though Toney takes alot of fights), I just cant see the math for his exscuse here...

I think the only way for Sam to win is to ignore the head and work Toney's body... I can't see Toney if he is out of shape taking the true power of Samuel's for 12 rounds to the body... I can't see anyone in the heavyweight division taken his power to the body maybe ever.

Peter brings more money to the table because quite frankly Peter is more exciting crowd pleasing fighter, He puts more a$$es in seats, and its a better fight for the fans . Both Toney and Peter fight in the pocket. . ,its a more competitive match-up . People are sick of the 12 round hug Fests. Wlad need to fight someone his own height like that 7"2 Valv fellow. Let him punch and grab on that big SOB. :) That's the way i see it anyway.

Your probably right about Wlad beating up on Toney if that fight were to happen . 6"7 250 vs. 5"9 217 not a good match-up for the 5"9 guy , unless he is a huge puncher like Tua , which Toney is not. Peter- Toney is a better and more competitive fight, As for it not being a title fight who cares ? the IBF sanctioning fees for the fight with Wlad aren’t worth it, cause the belts are meaningless anyway. Its smart business for Toney. Off the subject did you know John Ruiz is still the number #1 Contender in the WBA . he lost too Roy Jones, Toney, and Valv, and Holyfield if you ask me. unbefukinleavable .. If that's the case, he should just take the punch in the face where it was originally going to land before he turned his head. Wlad that is. He was acting scared to get punched in the face and that doesn't work in this sport. If that's his best defence then he just sucks, really.

I knew that he would do this....I knew that he would talk about the possibility of fighting Wlad so it looks like he's not scared, and then find another reason to fight someone else.

It has nothing to do with money...It has everything to do with Toney wanting nothing to do with Wlad.
I'm afraid that if Toney stepped in the ring with Wlad there would be no hugging.....just pounding...James would never get through the jab to be effective.
This would be the very definition of target practice for Wlad. AND trust me...if Wlad contacts Toney half as many times as Rahman did, his corner will have to scoop him up off of the floor.
It's all about positioning , this fight. It is a WBC title eliminator . Toney thinks he can box circles around Peter and get another shot at Rahman after his mando vs. Maskaev ( don't know if you guys read my article on DHB about Castillo/Corrales but I saw both guys at the media dinner and Rahman is out of shape as usual . MAskaev looked fighting trim ) . Should he beat both Peter and Rahman , a Wlad vs. Toney fight becomes an event rather a name for Wlad to feed on. It becomes more than a fight fans' fight . It becomes a much bigger money fight for Toney to retire on . Make no mistake , at any point that Wlad fights Toney , Wlad retires him .

Id like to see JFAT beat Peter , then beat Oleg , then lose to Nick , then Nick vs. Wlad for all the belts. Wlad wins and "perhaps" the HW division will have some respect. But with Don " O0 " King in the picture this will never happen.

I think an in shape and more polished Peter is the only guuy out there that can clean out the HW division. Maybe Wlad if he can learn to defend himself better w/o holding like a lil bi***.

I think it's becasue Raid directly attacks their nervous system and people spray Raid directly on the cockroach.
One thing I know for sure is that the cockroach can survive in the heavyweight division, an even hold a title for around five years on average. Then around that time.....a giant sasquatch will usually come out and squish the cockroach. ;)

Here is the deal IMO I think if Toney comes in at the Same shape that he did against Evander Holyfield then he will give any of the current Title Holders a Hard time...Not to mention He will Take Sam Peter to School

This is said everytime he fights someone new. Toney has a great chin and he won't be getting knocked out unless Ibeabuchi comes back in the same shape he was in before.
