The extra 4 hours of eating could have been the 5% difference in the outcome of the fight.

Its basically a meal and a nap isnt it? 4 hours.

Which dont mean much to the average man but when your extremely drained it can make a hell of a difference.

I noted that they didn't disclose the fight-night weights which they usually do either.

All said and done, Cotto would have probably been the winner if the way in was at 5pm and even if the ring was a lot bigger - but it does make a difference stylistically in Miguel's favour don't it?

Arum & Cotto aren't network jumping to get more control.

HBO is pretty much jam up full with fighters & contracts. HBO & Arum had a deal for a 3-4 year contract on fights...just as they do with other fighters. It is the promoters decision & the fighters decision to stay or go...theyr'e not banned or scorned for going over to Showtime as Showtime does not lay exclusives on fighters anymore.

There is no conspiracy story to keep straight. Arum had Cotto lined up on the same night as the Hopkins fight & that is that...the Hopkins fight just happened to land on the very same night.

Big deal. No one's done anything wrong either...the Cotto debacle that Paulie is pissin & moanin over is run of the mill for every Cotto fight...he always blows up & the time really shouldnt be an issue.

Lemme get this straight. So you like Cotto, but you're upset that HBO (and now Showtime) are controlling him. But you're also upset that Cotto cheated and gamed the system and had the weigh-in moved earlier. But it's not his fault because HBO was controlling him. Even though it wasn't an HBO fight, and was in fact competing with an HBO PPV. But it's not a conspiracy theory that HBO and Arum had it all worked out between them anyway. Although it shouldn't really have mattered to Malignaggi, because Maracho has beaten three guys who came in over their weight limit.

I never put any blame on Cotto and I am glad he won and knew he would win but what I am upset with is HBO guys like Hatton permitted to wrestle and getting gift decisions, and him and Floyed moving to various weight classes and getting first dibbs at the big money fights, belts and rankings while others or left waiting behind. Now the rules suddenly change about weigh in times for another HBO fighter then change back again.

You cronies just keep on protecting the big wigs but you wont shut me up and by the way these are just a few of the many shady goings on at HBO and Showtime you know it.

Ebo's wife and his sister in law are members of my forum and they are very good people.

maracho I think you are just reading to much into what people are posting. IMHO it sounds like you are being a little to sensitve about some remarks from some of the posts. Nobody was slandering fighters families, if they were it wasnt how I read what they wrote. I went back threw the Contender thread and I definately didnt feel like people were trying to slander a fighter or their believes. Take a few deep breaths, everything is going to be alright, no reason to get in tether, I can appreciate your passionate about you views and all, but really no need for name calling or taking anything to seriously, What makes this forum a cut above the others is that the folks on here are pleasant to chat with , even if they are of complete different opinion, some of my most memorable and best chats have been with people that share a different point of view.

I do feel the Moderator should have emailed you privately to discuss this, as not to embarrass you in front of the other board members . Anyway hope you can chill and stay with us !

Believe it or not, there is a worse forum than this. Its on MaxBoxing.

I have never seen anyone talking bad about fighters mothers, wives, girlfriends or children here on Saddo.

Ebo's wife and his sister in law are members of my forum and they are very good people.

I hope that bashing families would not go on anywhere in any forum. It is not allowed on mine. Bashing fighters yes but it's not an obsession with us. (Except when Pedork opens his dirty rotting yellow tooth mouth we strike back)

But like I was saying. MaxBoxing is 20 times worse than this and they really have cronies on there. They will change your posts and make it look like you are saying things including gay talk, beastiality, racial slurs etc.

Those people are sick.

If there are any huge beefs here take a step back and lets mend out sometimes evil ways. A lot of times people are joking but those jokes can be misconstrude.

See the contendrs spoilers thread yesterday. I can remember all kinds of criticism from this forum of Hatton and his family they were interviewed for the Colooazo fight, Raheem's Christian family was also put through the mill here after they were filmed before the Frietas fight. These are just a few examples of many.

I have only been coming to Saddo for maybe almost a year now.

I have no complaints. I have never had any major beefs. Maybe some disagreements or and a misunderstanding or two but nothing to write my congressman about.

Go to MaxBoxing and I swear you will come back here thinking Saddo's forum is a sanctimonious place.

I am not trying to promote the a-holes at Max, I am just letting you know it's real bad compared to this forum.

maracho I think you are just reading to much into what people are posting. IMHO it sounds like you are being a little to sensitve about some remarks from some of the posts. Nobody was slandering fighters families, if they were it wasnt how I read what they wrote. I went back threw the Contender thread and I definately didnt feel like people were trying to slander a fighter or their believes. Thanks for your concern but I rather like the idea that my views are getting so much attention. The truth always hurts and some people just cant stand being proven wrong and so are trying to get me banned for what you guys cant quite put your finger on.

I have been banned from so many forums such as three of Ebay's, the Penn and Teller message board, Showtime ask al forum deleated most of my threads and from a few more forums that I cant remember at the time. Besides that I have got at least three megacorprations in big A.. trouble and have myself been in more trouble in more countries than most all of you put together most of which was before I was even 17 years old (thank the Lord ) so this big baby forum is becoming quite boring and to childish for me to spar with.

Honestly...I just don't see the reason to insult everyone that you run into. Did you ever stop to think that a lot of us maybe want to discuss things with you & not argue or be insulted? Turn about is fair play & sure...I shouldn't have called you a child or whatever...but we all do & say things in the heat of the moment in arguements sake.

Thanks for coming to my defence Danny I couldn't figure out why they all got so angry especially on a forum and by members who are notorious for arguing and making people mad. You should of seen how harsh Wacko was with the some of the ultimate fighting fans the other day.
