I think this last quote is a little over the top, he let himself down sure but I'm certain nobody feels worse both physically and mentally right now than Corrales.
As Snakey said Castillo did it twice to Corrales.
It does seem wrong to me however that fighters are even allowed to fight at a weight that is clearly well below their normal bodyweight.
I'm amazed that in todays world where safety is a priority that it's not illegal for a man with a clear size advantage exploiting the weigh ins to fight somebody naturally smaller than them. It's not just Corrales pretty much every fighter in the lower divisions is guilty of it.
I think the weigh in should be on the day of the world putting a stop to all this nonsense once and for all.
By the way Jorge Barrios failed to make weight against Guzman and was consequently stripped last month and I don't remember a single person criticisng him at all.
Even Lampley and all said he had had real weight problems before the fight and that it might have taken it's toll on him.
But when Castillo and now Coralles do it, they are seen to be gaining an advantage ???
Boxing confuses me sometimes :P
Because Barrios's glasses are his excuse for being overweight :)
And I think it's more Corrales critisizing Castillo and then doing the same thing more over the top then him thats bigger

Yeah I'm with you Starr, Corrales was all teared up that his opponent didn't make weight. Bleeting about all the sacrifice he's made then goes & does the same thing. Plus Barrios was a lot closer to the weight than Corrales!

Corrales is shot and he knows it. Coming in overweight is a way for him to try and gain andvantage over a fighter he knows deep inside he can't beat

Amen brother, I'm with you on ths one. Who cares about the bookies saying that Corrales will iwn, I agree that he was hoping for a way out of this grudge match, and Casamayor wouldn't give him it. Goodnight Corrales.

When Castillo came in over both times I called him a cheat. Now Chico has done it, if casamayor loses, he'll get the castillo treatment, but I'm disgusted with him at the minute. I thought he was better than that.

this is complete hipocrisy on part of Corrales, he should get the same exact punishment or in fact an even more severe punishment than Castillo did
