My money would be on Vitaly against any of the greats. Foreman is 20 pounds lighter and had a defence with big holes where straight punches could get in, Frazier to short, Ali to light punching...etc. I know you dont understand this but its ok, we are all happy that he is back!
Anyway for the haters; everytime the brothers fight someone, before the fight u say that they will lose, after the fight u say that they fought a bum (lol). Tell us which 10 fighters you want them to fight to get respect?
Vitaly is always fun to watch. Go to youtube.com and see him turn Kirk Johnson in to a little scared child. o ya before the fight he was given good chances to win, after he was just a "bum".
ali has never been koed and he was in with hardest punchers the robotic vitali wouldnt ko him no way ali has too good of a chin and i had cooper winning two rounds i think before knockdown id have to watch it again he was giving ali trouble with his left hook vitali is good but not as good as people make out just because he gave lewis trouble when lewis wernt at his best i think ray mercer gave lewis tougher fight and lewis was in top shape for that fight so i give mercer alot of props for that fight i still give vitali his dues though dont get me wrong none of them have really fought anyone good but im not blaming them its the crap hw era there in

I just doubt that even if Cooper was really good he could make up for 70pounds weight difference. No way; vitaly is welltrained and has a good jaw. Ali never fought bigger guys (almost never) its hard to know how he would handle Vitaly. I dont think he is robotic; he fights with left held low and moves well.

TKO 10 vs Larry Holmes
Yeah it was old Ali but you said NEVER
I don't say the Klitschko's would beat any all-time greats...I just say they would be difficult for anyone to fight.

I think the European fighters are better than they have ever been in the heavyweight division. The American fighters overall are not as good as the fighters from Joe Louis's and Ali's era but they are still good fighters.

Re: Vitali to make comeback?
We (the USA) have some problems with our heavyweights...the old guard is just that OLD....Tyson is OLD, Holyfield is OLD, and Riddick Bowe is OLD.
That being said we never developed a sucessor to Riddick or Evander
Our fighters have become one dimensional, undertrained, stupid, or not dedicated.
Chris Byrd was our best but he didn't have the power or flash to win over the crowds
We have some hope on the horizon but it's not getting much press: Chris Arreola, Chazz Witherspoon, Eddie Chambers, Jason Estrada, Michael Marrone, Malik Scott, Travis Walker, Kevin Johnson, Derrick Rossy, JD Chapman, and Devin Vargas just to name a few.
The Europeans are taking advantage of the first time in a LONG time that the Americans don't have a GREAT heavyweight

Another update from Sports Illustrated
BERLIN (AP) -- Former WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko hopes to return to the ring two years after injuries forced his retirement, according to a German report.
Klitschko, the older brother of IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko, plans to start his comeback attempt by working with a physiotherapist in Germany, the Westdeutsche Zeitung reported over the weekend.
"We already have a concept," Klitschko trainer Fritz Sdunek said. "First of all, though, it's important that Vitali's body stands up to the training."
Klitschko's last fight was an eighth-round stoppage of Danny Williams on Dec. 11, 2004. The 34-year-old's back and knee problems forced a year layoff afterward, then his retirement with a 35-2 record with 34 knockouts.
Smudek, who guided both brothers to WBO heavyweight titles, said the Ukrainians want to revive their old dream of owning the four major world heavyweight titles between them at the same time.
Klitschko failed in a recent bid to be elected mayor of Kiev, but remains active in Ukrainian politics and in business. Continuing the brothers' tradition, he still works the corner during the fights of Wladimir, who is three years younger.
Smudek said Klitschko will need a buildup fight before taking a title bout and would like the opponent to be Lennox Lewis, who is also retired.
The Klitschko brothers built their boxing careers in Germany, but Vitali has since moved to Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
