Rocky 1-6! Makes boxers look like morons, plus Stallone is a midget!
Brian Dennehy... He did better than expected in that fight. If they wanted to make it real, it should have lasted 10-20 seconds.Quote:

Favourite boxing film.......I don't want to melt with world and be too predictable with cinderella Man, I'm picking Fight Club. It's more my style.
OldTownboxing
For all of you that dont like Midnight Sting or Diggstown....................your all wrong. It is without doubt the greatest film boxing or otherwise ever made.
all joking aside there was a DON KING movie done by HBO i believe. to be honest it was entertaining to say the least, and EDDIE WINSLOW from FAMILY MATTERS played ALI LOL
:lolhaha:
yeah that movie Don King was cool.. I think Ving Ryhmes played Don King in that ... good flick ! ;)
which reminds me of another hbo movie or was it showtime? called TYSON i believe it had malolm jamal warner(theo huckstable in it) aahhaha
it was hilarious cuz Theo was cussing in it when Mike was beating the shiiiiiiit out of his sparring partners Theo was all like WTF mike??? shiiiiiit mike chill LOL
personally i think Malcolm Jamal Warner should play Lennox Lewis especially cuz he had them dreads LOL

Gotta go with The Great White Hype.
"but im not irish" ;D
Tottaly forgot about that film 8)
the great white hype was cool..samual l jackson and jon lovitz= classic ;D
Great white hype was a comedy where you were suppose to concentrate on the jokes and laugh, not on the reality of the actual boxing match, if you want to say a bad comedy fine, but to say bad boxing movie would mean that you focused on the wrong thing in the movie. Diggstown storyline was based off of the hurdles he had to face in the ring, which was garbage. Great white hype was not.Quote:

Rocky IV........I saw this one in the theater back in '84 or '85, I don't remember which. Back then I though it was great because I was a kid and the cold war was in full gear.
Now, years later I watch that movie and cringe.
The acting, the writing, the impossible fight choreography.... :puke:
Probably not a boxing movie but I read the description of a film on showtime earlier today, a boxer wants to become a gymnast. Can't imagine that one is the greatest.
Yes. I remember seeing this in the movie theatre with my father and boxing my way across the parking lot on the way back to the car. When I re-watched it in the late nineties I was embarrassed by it.Quote:
