Re: How much credit will you give Floyd if he beats Oscar?
I think it is all down to Floyds style and I dont think he will change it. Ever seen him in the gym training like an animal in order to destroy his opponent?
It's just not Floyds style, he likes to hit and not get hit which is fine as it's what boxing is in a way. Unfortunately for Floyd, fighters who fight with heart who want to break an opponent to show their superiority rather than just outbox them get way more respect from anyone who has a passion for the sport like I do.
Floyd picks his opponents well though. Gatti was perfect for a masterclass and the Floyd fans will always revert to that fight when anyone questions his killer instinct as a fighter. If Floyd wins in this way I will respect him.
If Floyd beats ODLH it will not be spectacular. Oscar can be very dangerous with that left and you can be sure Floyd has been running from it all night if he has his gloves raised come the end of the fight. If Floyd wins this way its just another Floyd victo.....ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz

Floyd's better than all three of them combined and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it.
ps--If you think Margarito, Hatton or Cotto are 'great' fighters I suggest you take up following another sport, as you clearly haven't got a clue about this one.

The winner of this fight may go down as the greatest fighter of this generation. Its not often you get a fight with 2 guys with belts literally growing out of their ears across so many weights! Can't wait!

I hate people who do that, if Floyd beats them it doesn't mean they are garbage, provided they have earned their own credentials. Example, Bernard Hopkins destroyed ODLH, he ain't garbage. Lacy is destroyed by Calzaghe, then goes on to suck (and lose) against Tsypko, GARBAGE!
Re: How much credit will you give Floyd if he beats Oscar?
It doesn't matter how he wins the fight....if he wins he's done really well.
I fully expect him to be win to be honest. He's to smart to get involved in a brawl and i see it being similar to the baldy fight. He'l probly run but it will get the job done.
Re: How much credit will you give Floyd if he beats Oscar?
tbh it depends how he wins. Although his skill is far superior to that of many others, i am fed up of seein him run round the ring jabbin and throwin little combos until he comes out with the point decision. Fair play to him if he wins, he's trained hard and deserves it, and obviously he will go down as one of the best in the divisions history, but i just don't give fighters credit who run in and out like floyd does. He is boring and i am almost certain that there are fighters out there who can beat him, such as oscar and hatton.
Re: How much credit will you give Floyd if he beats Oscar?
INO Oscar will beat PBF & maybe TKO/KO him!
Re: How much credit will you give Floyd if he beats Oscar?
I will give Floyd all the credit in the world if he beats Oscar. Hes an exceptional fighter anyway. I do think though that Oscar will win. Not only is he bigger but also has the boxing smarts.
