Collazo gotta lot of credit from his performance against Hatton, i certainly dont think sugar shane would be wanting to fight collazo if he hadnt gained the exposure and recognition from the Htton fight, so it hasnt been all bad for luis however everyone else called the fight. facts being facts hatton shoulda gave luis a rematch, but he didnt score the fight, I hope collazo goes on to do well beat mosely and Hatton faces him again so this balls can stop once and for all, until then i say lets give them both credit for a great tough fight!!!

That's true. He did get chased back down but who knows if Floyd would have gotten chased back down if he fought such a tough opponent his first fight at WW.
If Floyd had fought Collazo his firs fight at welter noone would ever have given him respect or called him a tough opponent, before or after the fight. With hindsight he obviously was tougher than Mitchell but noone rated him very highly before he fought Hatton and with good reason, we'll see if he's really that good when he fights Shane.

Very good point. After he fights Shane we'll know alot more about Collazo and Hatton.

You may be right M. but remember that Cintron is taller and has a longer reach than Sugar Shane. Also, have you seen Cintron's jab (not to mention his power) lately? Cintron will keep him away because of it (and the power). I agree that Sugar gets KO'd in this fight.

It's one thing to look against club fighters like Estrada and Gutierrez. Than to look good against an elite fighter like Mosley. Estrada and Gutierrez were low level B fighters. Last time Cintron faced a regular B fighter (Margarito) he got destroyed. Now you saying he can knock out an A level fighter like Mosley. Foolish boy. Cintron himself doesn't think he can beat Mosley. Why you think he pulled out? Promotional difficulties? Yeah fucking right! Sound like heart difficulties. As in a lack of one.

Cintron is young and still has room to improve. He was demolished by Margarito. He has gotten wins over solid opposition since then and the physical abilites are there and he has Emanuel Steward as a trainer. I agree that the most logical prediction would be Mosley by late round stoppage or UD based upon pedigree and the way Shane looked against Vargas. With that said this wouldn't be a fight I'd place money on. With Mosley getting old in boxing years and coming back down in weight a lot of wild cards are involved.
