Re: Witter/Morua and Daws/Morrison RBRs
That was a strange performance from Daws and his corner to be honest. They seemed content to let early round slide safe in the knowledge that their man would come good in the end. They allowed the slide to carry on till half way which means Daws has to fight a prefect second half to draw level ???
Fair play to Morrison, soaked up what Daws had left and then pulled it out in the end, well deserved.

Great work mate and what a fight.... CC for you ;)
Re: Witter/Morua and Daws/Morrison RBRs
Dave Paris's scorecard defies belief 117 - 112 for Daws!
No one could seriously watch that fight and give credibility to how you could score this anywhere near the likes of that card.
Well done to Barry Morrison though!

Re: Witter/Morua and Daws/Morrison RBRs
So let's hope that y'all were watching some of the undercard fights....because I thought Ashley Theophane looked pretty good against Alan Bosworth, and as the mandatoyry for Morrison defence, I reckon it would be a great fight, and their styles would slot very well with each other. Morrison comes forward with the big punches, and Theophane looked good off the back foot, and punched accurately and stayed out of the way.
Either way, if we get a Daws-Morrison rematch, or a Morrison-Theophane clash, I reckon we got plenty of domestic talent at light-welter, and some could go on for Commonwealth or European bouts.

He did look good didnt he. I thought he had a problem at one point, always poking his gumshield out and making some horrible wheezing noises in the corner.
