Re: will hatton get the credit if he beats castillo ??
As for Hatton, he is an A-/B+ fighter. He fought the right opponents in the beginning (even shadowing Kostya's foes for a while) and gained my respect when he made Tszyu QUIT in a fight that I thought was as close as the scorecards revealed.

Depends on how he beats him. I think Hatton has as much of a chance at beating Castillo as he does at winning a beauty contest. ::** Can't see it happening. If Hatton beat Castillo in convincing fashion without all of the holding and illegal crap, I would definitely give him his props.
Boxing ain't a beauty contest mate...
Anyway if he uses illegal 'crap' people should blame the referee for letting him get away with it. I remember people saying "He wont be able to do that S*** if he comes to the states" after the Tszyu fight.
Believe it or not I actually want to see Hatton try that illegal S*** against Castillo and see what happens
CC! I would too actually....I hope this will be a rough and bloody war.
Re: will hatton get the credit if he beats castillo ??
Hatton will get my respect if he beats Castillo but its far from an easy fight should be good while it lasts 50/50 fight i think
im also interested in seeing wot Urango does in future to see if he was any good or just a big strong guy.
cos i got the feeling Mr Coladzo who made hatton look bad is far better fighter than he gets credit for if you get my point !!!

Wlodarczyk didnt lose to Cunnigham, i watched the fight , no bias in the scoring except the 119-109 judge :o

agreed fight was close after 11 rounds i think hatton was only 1 round ahead 2 at most kostya should of tried to of fought on
but who am i to say i wernt feeling what kostya was feeling maybe he was in agony and had nothing left

NO WAY is JLC washed up.I just want to point that out in case it is brought up or used as an excuse or anything else.

I wouldn't call him washed up. He seemed lathargic and a bit puny though.

JLC isn't washed up, but certainly is past his prime. I think any fight now it's going to start showing. Numbers dont lie: 33 years old, 62 fights, 7 losses.
Castillo is a durable guy, but like with Tszyu it seems like Hatton is going to catch him at just the right time in his career where something is starting to slide a little. I dont know if that will be the case with castillo, but based on his failure to make weight for corrales III and his last performance against ngoudgo (sp) it seems like he is losing some of the fire.
