EXPLAIN???? are you kidding me???.......
He is old,,washed up,,,has not had a meaningful win in over a decade,,he is slow,,has no skills and disgraced the sport more times than one can count....His sparring exibition tour was a joke...
What good would come out of it??,,,He is not even a draw other then to those who for some reason or another think he is going to pull 1986 back out of his ass...
No one wants to work with him....
IN PLAIN ENGLISH WHAT GOOD IS HE????
Lets save the space on websites and magazine for those out there who are working their asses off and trying to make a name for themselves the right way and arent desperate for a buck because they F***** off 300,000,000 plus million acting like an ass
Enough said

he couldnt even beat danny williams or kevin mcbride he is finished and if he comesback i wont have any interest in it because he is nowhere near fighter he was and its shame but oh well thats the way life goes

Talking about him on a form is not what you call press coverage...Guys on the talk to the trainer boards mention stuff like jock itch...I suppose they are promoting it? :D

Media coverage, internet forums are a media

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
foreman made a come back at 45 and now holyfirld at 43 and i bet mike comes back like holyfield has with 3 or 4 fights against real bums and have a pop at the easyest title on offer then probaly tyson and holyfield will have one more clash at the golden oldy age....like we say holyfields doing it so why not tyson?
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
If Tyson trained for 8 to 10 week solid with top sparring who know's what he could bring to the ring but if he is'nt interested and just does it for the money he will be no better than the Williams and Mcbride fights
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
In his own words;
(Said in a Mike Tyson voice)
"I justh don' have the stomach, fo' thisss"

because tyson has lost to mcbride and danny williams thats why atleast holyfields losses have been to champions or former world champions or top level opponents i mean mcbride and williams arent even in top 20 are they ??

is this still running?! I love Tyson but he is not coming back! Not a chance in hell nor heaven!! >:mad

when tyson fought these 2 they were both in the top 20 at the time,,,,we all seen what happened to mike in the williams fight he twisted his knee but you seen the damage he done to williams in round one befour the knee went and as for mcbride well he was coming of the loss to williams and he had no confidence or heart .the williams fight took it out mike mentaly and emotionaly.....mike got one last thing to prove and as we speak now he is preparing.all them exibition fights with tillis is just prt of the preperation for his comeback and miles you dont like mike.....cus said any old fighter might have one last zipp left in him and i bet theres a tyson v holyfield in about a year or less time.that would create millions again for both fighters and mike needs it and also he wants to leave on a high rather than as a disgrace so thats two incentives for him.....he has got one last flurry left you watch.

no one saying tyson will be at top level again its just that theres gonna be a few easy come backs untill he gets a little beleaf back and he will escalate from there....take his chance and take the easyest belt on offer.....restore a bit of dignity
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
The proble is that while it may restore dignity to Mike's career, it would take away one of the last remaining threads of dignity or credibility from whatever sanctioning body's belt he held, probably Briggs piece of WBShite.

I agree man. I have been checking this thread out since it started I wasn't going to say anything just because I didn't think it would carry on this far, but until we have a credible source then this is nonsense I haven't heard anything about this. Matteoz did you find out the magazine name yet?

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
I have already posted that this is bogus
I talk to Steve Lott and he confirmed that he hasnt spoken to Mike since 2001
