derrick jefferson vs maurice harris
Yeah baby that was a cracking fight it had skill aggression and it swayed one way and then next right up to the bell .Quote:

My alltime favourite fight has to be Tito - Vargas . Tito remember was red hot and so was Vargas despite the Winky fight .
Vargas showed such incredible bottle under pressure the way he kept his boxing together under the severest of pressure was just awe inspiring .
He didn't panic stayed in range and got his jab working with tito in mean machine mode . The only fighter to come close to exhibiting that kind of bottle under pressure was Marquez against Pacman .
Difference was Fernando was a mere whisp of a lad at 21 .
good call.Quote:

The Yorkshire Hunter coming of the deck twice if memory serves right to stop Poison late on, Cracker!
Holmes v Berbick (car park not ring) I'd have loved to seen a follow up to that, maybe Larry dropping on TB from a bus shelter with elbow Hulk Hogan style ;D wrong topic should be in rematche but dont know how to move it
johnny armour v ndabe dube on the undercard of lennox lewis v derek williams in 1992
great little scrap with armour winning by stoppage in the 12th
Tszyu v Hurtado....that fight was a beauty!
alex stewart vs michael moorer 4 round slugfest ;)
yes that witherspoon was excellent young slim one just when he started to get fat ruined himself that witherspoon would of gave alot of hws troubleQuote:

I had never even heard of these guys until month ago what a fight this was an absolute classic that has been forgotten.
Anything with 'School Boy' in it is a classic. Have you seen his fights with Limon? Or Olivares? Underrated fights all....Quote:

Oh my,how could I forget Bazooka Limon v the Schholboy? a WAR! In fact, both fighters have had alot of great great fights. Alexis Arguello has also had alot of exciting, under rated fights.
Bowe vs Golota 1&2
Bhop vs Echols 1&2
Witherspoon would of won simple reason is in 1985 Holmes skills had diminished badly by then.Quote:

Jose Andres Hernandez versus Antonio Escalante is another one.
It's one of boxing's most famous, but I seldom see it mentioned here, but Yvon Durrelle versus Archie Moore. All time great bout.
i recommend downloading is Troy Dorsey -vs James Leija .. nice workrate from both fighters ! you will enjoy O0Quote:

Calzaghe versus Mitchell was also a good fight cut short by a ref stoppage again though I think Calzaghe was beginning to take over.
Morales versus Espadas was a good back and forth fight that was a bit soured by the controversial decision.
But perhaps topping them all is William Page versus Jose Luis Lopez. Absolute slugfest, both fighters wobbled each other half a dozen times each, truly a great fight that I saw just for the first time a couple weeks ago after downloading it randomly a long time ago. Excellent fight. If only they had not had that damned logo in the middle of the ring >:mad
missed that match, i liked Jose Luis Lopez, he seemed to struggle with the weight a bit. thunderous puncher.. always came to fight.Quote:

But yeah I haven't seen much of Lopez but he had a punch and that's what made the fight so exciting.
I didn't think Spinks vs Holmes was very entertaining to be honest and its not underrated its well known that both fights were very controversial.Quote:

As a matter of fact, I have a fight on tape here from ESPN fights which is underrated and the fighters names were Larry King vs. Willie Kemp.. Not a bad fight at all.
I agree with all of what you said except Duran vs Barkley part that was fight of the year 1989 not underrated imo.Quote:
