Round 2:

Nice right from Smith, sorry for the gaps but I'm munching olives and sipping cranberry juice. Great straight right from SSmith, and Pilizzi collapses into Smith's arms, like a drunk hugging his missus. Another big right, and Polizzi is down again. Saved by the bell.
No I'm not an idiot....Round 1 wasn't televised ;)

hahahaha Smith seems OK fast counters good jab but gets hit alittle too much for my liking although it dosnt panic him much but its still an issue that might be his downfall in the contender fights... might just make him more exciting to watch time will tell i guess ;)

Matthews gets a rousing reception, and milks the fans. Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher (Soccer players) at ringside and cheering Matthews on. Simpson with a jab and a huge right catches Matthews off guard, and knocks Matthews down. 8 count for Matthews, and Simpson bhas worried Matthews. He's running a little more now. Matthews with a jab and a right cross. Flurry by Matthews, and MAtthews nearly wrestled Simpson down. Good right from Simpson. Standoff, and Simpson with the jab. Good jab from Simpson.
Simpson took it for me by 3, at 116-113, but what will the hometown advantage give Derry Matthews? Duke Mckenzie has Simpson by two, and the commentator has Matthews. McGuigan has a draw.
some very strange scoring there ???
Whatever the result now, Simpson has been so brave, and Matthews ws a little dirty. REMATCH, REMATCH!!!!
118-112, 117-110, 113-111. Matthews. Let me check the maths....but Matthews got two points deducted and a knockdown. How does he end up with 118 point, or even 117 points? I can see Siompson being entirely justified in feeling aggrieved with those two scores, and he got stiffed in the margin of the scores.
Duke Mackenzie needs a fucking new prescription both of them have been talking complete shite all night, Derry won that very easily despite the knockdown and how in the hell did they have M'baye winning? Plus the little snidey comment that M'baye v Kotelnik was better than Hatton v Urango and Hatton fans won't hear a bad word said about they're fighter. ITV has become Frank Warren's talking ring piece.
FFS dan, i can't believe you had Matthews by a wide margin after he's four points down before you tot up the other rounds. Simpson put up a vey good fight, and picked up at least a few rounds you must admit.Quote:

Universum To Protest Decision
http://www.fightnews.com/universum121.htm
It was another tight fight from last night, and I just think they're being a bit childish, cause Mbaye had a few good rounds of the back foot and popping the jab and fending Kotelnik off. While Kotelnik was definitely throwing the more damaging punches, I don't have a problem with the way the judges called it, except for the one who had Kotelnik way ahead.Quote:

I wished i had put money on Kotelnik i faniced him wonder what odds i would have got . Never had a bet but ive often thought i should .
M'baye is vulnerable looks a bit lightweight .
Duke McKenize is the most useless commentator of all time, surely you must know that?Quote:

I must admit I really wanted Simpson to win. A real dirty f***** that Derry, typical scouse knob
I think you'd have gotten nearly 3/1 or so on Kotelnik going into it.
