No one has said Tony Ayala. He was as deadly a fighter as I've ever seen in the ring, but life got the better of him. He got out of jail in 98' but he was locked up (pre 83') he was insanely powerful, a destroyer.

And he's back in for repeated parole violations,a very bad human being, but he was a deadly fighterQuote:

Imo vargas wasnt wasted talent he was just rushed in against greater opposition too soon, although he had the skill and was mature in the ring, he wasnt mature enough to deal with a loss or experienced enough for all the probs that Tito gave him and left him with afterwards
Shannon Briggs.
Got it. I'd add TysonQuote:

Uh huh. If that isn't a waste, I don't know what waste is. Tyso was a big "what if."Quote:

yo theres so many yo but id even put ANDREW GOLOTA higher than your riddick bowe, cuz atleast bowe copped a belt and had his timeless wars with real deal, Golota on the other hand had it all man(skills, power, heart, and yes LOOKS!) he would of been the grandpa to set the trend for the klitschkos etc to come later. plus him being from my hometown of CHI-TOWN damn man he could of really represented.
on top of all that we all know he was beating the S out of Bowe until he wanted to play with his balls!!!!!!!
Golota had heart ?Quote:

Riddick bowe numero uno what a waste it says something when your own trainer walks away and says its disgusting his skills are eroding do to laziness
tyson never filled his potentia; he flushed the second part of his career down the toilet, not much character there
ibeaubuchi looked like a good fighter what a shame
zab judah??? I think he is ordinary at best.
vargas, he did the best he could couldnt beat the elite and simply talked to much trash and never backed it up
ray mercer could have did more than he did had he applie dhimself more
pernell whitaker great yes but could have been greater stay off the drugs
Well, as Mick is still not providing an answer, I third this question, and ask, Audley Harrison???Quote:

I am predicting Manny Pacquaio to be a wasted talent after his fight with Solis and after he wins in the elections.
audley harrison who knows
harry simon if he wouldn't went to jail he be a hof
vernon forrest im not knocking im but he wont ever be back to his true strenghts
zab judah
fernado vargas
hector camacho
hasim rahman
naseem hamed 1 loss destroyed his career
kassim ouma if he stay in middleweight
i think of that much more rightnow
:coolclick: for Harry Simon totally forgot about him.Quote:

too bad his a bad ass not a chicken shyt like floyd. if zab took the floyd route and handpick oppenents zab would be bigger then pretty boy floyd today.
without heart and focus into the sport of boxing talent can really be a big waste.
Yeah I gotta agree with Harry Simon from prior posters, blew his chance just when it was in his grasps!
Ibeabuchi threw it all away too!
1. MIKE TYSON - even thouh he had a great run he is my nuber one pick beacuse he could of been something even bigger with the proper guidance, he never received it so he never reached his full potensial witch would have been ground breaking.
2. ANDREW GOLOTA - he can beat 90% of the hw's out there today, he just does not have the heart or the will to use his tools right in the ring the bowe mishap is a good example
3. Felix Trinidad He is one of the hardest hitting middleweights in years, but just beacuse he gets beat by the better fighter doesnt mean he has to call it quits, he is still in his prime and could still be in the mix of the best of them kicking some ass , he should have take a page frome the book of shane mosley, get back in the horse, but if he is finished for good he had a good run, and we all respect that. but we all know he was never finished.
4. Ike Ibeabuchi - really no explanation needed
5. David Tua im sure im not the only one that knows we are not seeing the full potensial of what david tua can really do, he can make a mark in the hw div espichally now, he needs to get on the ball befor its too late
6. Zab Judah. Now this is a strange one zab is by no means a waste of tallent but he kinda falls into the category with tyson, so much contraversy surronding him he never really reached his full potensial ...... yet, unlike tyson zab is not finished, he still has the chance to turn the tables and i think he will but as of now he could have been something more.
7. Tommy Morrison. he was a solid fighter. had some ups and downs but he was robbed of his career. IMO morrison would have made a splach in the hw div years ago. but we will never know. sure he is back now but he will never be the same. i hope he proves me wrong.
I say Morrison was the biggest waste
I don't see how Morrison could of done any better except in Bentt fight he had good run beat Foreman lost to few good fighters like Mercer and Lewis Morrison could have done no better than he had done because of his chin was weak would of always let him down.
Harry Simon is out and fighting again , he made his comeback not long ago !!
I reckon he can do something its not like he's ancient or like he had lots of hard fights.
Me
Naz was never that good to being with and a good fighter doesnt lose like that and retire, hed get killed by manny pacquio
Naz fought good opposition and beat 4 champs who were champs at the time WBO,IBF,WBC,WBA although he did'nt get WBA because Vasquez had to give it up in order to fight Naz Tito retired after defeat twiceQuote:

"First I fought Buster Douglas, then I fought Buster Mathis, next week Ill be fighting an exhibition against a pair of Buster Brown's at Dave And Busters"
LOl you stole my answer. I would have to say Ike Ibeabuchi for sure the biggest waste . He surley could have domminated the heavies for a long time.Quote:

- 1998 ABA Super Heavyweight Champion
- 1998 Commonwealth Games Super Heavyweight Gold Medalist. Results were:
- 1999 competed at the World Championships in Houston, United States.
- Won the Super Heavyweight Gold Medal representing Great Britain at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney
He turns pro wins some bouts and then starts loosing.
Wasted talent I'd like to think so.
