You know what I mean.... Lacy is my Favorite along with Holyfield and Mayweather jr... That was a virtuoso win for Joe BUT he is making a living and a legacy off of that fight.
I dont get it the whole purpose of fighting American contender turd Manfredo, was to gain popularity and noteriety in the states for some exposure and a big showdown with one of America's finest.... Kessler was offered the fight but turned it down - apparently he needs a rest.
Taylor's fighting Spinks in May and his people have said they'd be interested later in the year.
Hopkins and Winky are fighting in July.

I can understand the thinking that Kessler should be jumping at the chance to fight in July...but why the hurry and pressure to do so? What is wrong with a break....simply make a September date....all resolved....or probably not... :-\

Not sure it's as easy as that.
It has a lot to do with the availability of TV dates and suitable venues. FW obviously has a July date. They offered Kessler (his team) the chance and they've refused it.
