The doctor in question gave his opinion and advice to Calzaghe who had his manager / promoter Frank Warren present.
"Mr Calzaghe im afraid its bad news , you will never fight again !! "
Warren leaped from his seat thinking of all the money he would loose , said he would get a second opinion , and tried to sign the 55 year old doctor as Calzaghes next oponant !!!!
Your career is over thatS the bad news !!!

I agree. Whoever initially posted this thread really mislead people and those that posted right before you did, didn't read the article. Hell when I read the headline, I thought he had bleeding on the brain or something else frigging serious until I took the time to read the article and saw that it was a damn lousy first opinion about a hand injury. Anyhow...i saw it this afternoon on that website, and I was very concerned for a few minutes, before reading it, and realising it is just a story that the first doctor Joe saw was an incompetent buffoon. Much the same as we have incompetence in every profession....doctors are no different.
