Re: Is boxing dying in the US?
I like Duddy as well. Still, the first time he gets KTFO I will stick my face an inch from her ear and whisper... pummeled.
Then I will poke her in the ribs with my "saw finger" and laugh.
The pointer finger on my right hand is the "saw finger" and she is deathly afraid of it. I do my best Bruce Lee imppersionation, say "Saaaaaaaaaw" and jab her in the side with it.
Re: Is boxing dying in the US?
Dont hate Duddy because your girls got the hots for him, ;D Watch "The Great White Hype" I wouldnt be surprised if Duddy isnt even Irish, just putting on an accent ;)
Re: Is boxing dying in the US?

You shouldn't have to beg your fighter to FIGHT
Re: Is boxing dying in the US?
Thats who Edision Miranda should fight in a rebound match.Irish John Duddy and Edison Miranda. If he can beat him then he should look for a rematch in Las Vegas or somewhere in the states with Abraham. Im a big Pavlik fan but I has respect for Miranda too.
Re: Is boxing dying in the US?
Lex Luthor has been burying it for months but aparently he doesn't have a big enough shovel to get the job done. Bilbo of course there smore mma fights on a card than on a boxing card because most of those fights are over in under 3 minutes. And saying that something takes alot more skill when upsets happen alot more readily just doesn't pan out.

Miranda obviously can't take the losing of the weight to be at 160.
Miranda just got found out is all....and I don't mean in a bad way, Pavlik just laid the blueprint on how to beat him is all.
Edison needs to work on his jab and his defense and go to 168.
and the reason Manny wanted JT to fight him was because Edison will let you hit him....that's never a good thing
Re: Is boxing dying in the US?
I guess the ufc was on sports illistrated for the first time a few days ago. Congratulations you are now as recognized as nascar, golf, and arena football. Of course rome continued his flip flop and had lidell on as he continued to bash boxing despite saying good things about PBF's correspondant piece before the de la hoya fight. Say what you want, One bad division (heavyweight) doesn't kill a sport. There are still many great fighters (including some that are american) and potentials for great matchups in the upcoming months. Besides all the people that are now tuning to mma are probably the same guys that just wanted to see knockouts and watched nascar for the wrecks so they won't be missed anyway. I'm actually glad there's something to weed out the true fans from the violence junkies.
