OHHHHH see I was confused because the talk then was "Wlad is going to get KO'd" and now it's "Sam wasn't experienced enough".....well I still don't see Sam Peter beating Wladimir at ANY point in his career.

Calvin Brock earned his shot....no one would know how good or not good Calvin was if he never got the chance to fight anyone like Wladimir.


Maybe you could clone Mike Tyson and have them fight or maybe you could clone someone who gives a fuck about you and your hatred of Wladimir Klitschko.....everyone wants a dominant heavyweight and one comes along and all of a sudden he ain't fucking good enough for you.

Brewster was tentative from the bell and didnt even try, Wlad just farted around for 6 rounds unwilling to open up with combos and left hooks to put Brewster away.... Brewster had 0 drive and seemed diintersted and there for a payday after a long lay off.

Wlad has fought by far the best competition of any HW since Lewis...

byrd beat vitali.. concidered a dangerous threat the first time they fought....

peter was a very dangerous opponent for him especially at that point in his career, sanders was a risky fight, both brewster fights were risky all very hard punchers...

Byrd only beat Vitali because of injury Vitali had plus Vitali was dominating Byrd 1st Brewster fight was not a risk Brewster had beaten nobody at that time and was not really considered to give Wlad trouble at all so that is why it was considered a major upset i agree with Sanders fight though.

He's coming back and would you wanna take byrd's or rahman's chances of beating Vitali here on out for the rest of their career? I didn't think so. The byrd thing was THE luckiest break in boxing history and rahman isn't good enough to be "ducked" (his claim to fame is a ko against an out of shape lennox lewis who took him,lightly, ir efer you to the rematch). I knew he was gonna beat brock and byrd (if he didn't he should've retired right there). Peter's still a question mark but he has improved a lot since their fight (apparently only wlad is allowed to receive credit for improving after a loss).

Wlad avenged a loss....this was much more like the Lewis-McCall II fight than anything I expected...but it's somethign everyone said he needed to do and he did it and now he gets no credit because Brewster wasn't the same Brewster....OR WAS HE????

Lamon was the same Brewster who got the shit kicked out of him for 4 rounds the last time they fought, only this time Wladimir fought at a good pace (still very active but more in control) and he won.

Like I said its not about the titles, its the prominence and prestige it represents :)

P4P status is for fighters who aren't heavyweights...or aren't natural heavyweights so I guess cases could be made to include Ezzard Charles and Evander Holyfield and so on in those rankings but still that's how P4P status came to be.


What Floyd does is totally different than what Wladimir does......added to the fact that Wladimir is not a prick to everyone he fights.

again its the complete dominance that Floyd brings with him everytime.... he is a virtuoso and would hold his own in any era

Last nite was one of the boringest Heavyweight Fights I have ever seen, Brewster didnt want to fight and lacked heart and interest, you could have demolished him easily but where content on just jabbing, jabbing, jabbing, jabbing, pawing, pawing, jab. :cwm33: it works for you and thats good I guess, but dosent motivate me to get anymore interested in the Heavyweight division

Wlad landed some very hard shots on Lamon hooks and crosses....yeah he jabbed a lot but those punches did damage.

It would have been like Floyd-Baldomir.....if Floyd had taken the fight to Carlos instead of trying to counter everything and make Carlos run around the ring chasing him......and if Carlos looked like he was about to go halfway during the fight.


Wladimir is not a perfect fighter, no one is saying he is, but he's the best hands down in the heavyweight division and if you don't like it don't fucking watch it.

Floyd isn't perfect and he's not the greatest either! He's the best P4P right now but IMO he's not the greatest of all time. That is my issue with Floyd....if he's the greatest as he says he is then he should be held to a higher standard and that's what I am doing when I say Floyd should fight more and throw more punches and flurry more.....hey he says he's the best NOT ME....and "the best" to me is a guy who can match what Ray Robinson did because Ray Robinson is THE BEST

Wlad has grown on me. I was not a fan until the Ray Mercer fight. Before that I felt Wlad was overrated. He just hit Mercer so hard and effortlessly. When Ray went down my jaw dropped.

The low and behold he gets smoked by Sanders. But I remain a fan. He is good for the sport's image

Holmes also showed heart aka getting hit with one of hardest hw punches ever thrown and still got up and managed to win showing heart for having tore bicep wasn't it before Norton fight ?? and brawling in one of finest hw rounds ever the 15th Holmes showed guts determination chin and could brawl with best of them watch 9th round with Witherspoon Wlad imo has not shown these qualitys yet yes he may of got up from knockdowns but it seems like he just gives up and knows he is going to lose and don't make any real effort except just get pounded on.


And by the way i haven't seen Peter vs Wlad so i can't comment on that fight but i heard all them knockdowns were by rabbit punches.

Wlad got up after Sanders hit him flush....granted he didn't win that fight but he got back up and fought back as much as he could......he got up after Sam Peter hit him and he whipped Sam Peter's ass!

Wlad won with a broken finger/hand whatever....Wladimir has heart but he's his own fighter, like Lennox said "There's only one Wladimir Klitschko" so let's just judge Wlad on what WLAD has done first and not what other fighters have done.
