CC Seanie. I was so pissed off Small was stopped. He ducked the last fucking punch. Small should demand a rematch. I had him winning by a few rounds when that happened.Quote:

missed this one as I was in Latvia on a stag do and we couldn't find it on anywhere
still haven't seen any of the knockdowns (all clips removed from youtube ! along with the Gatti fights too >:mad) so not sure in how much trouble he actually was or how close he came to getting stopped ??
have said for a while Khan was getting too cocky (driving the Lamborghini round Leeds city centre music blaring) and over believed in his own ability and what he needed was a few hairy moments early on in his career to make him realise he isn't necessarily the best out there yet . Sounds like he got one ;) It may have done him good - it may not have done. He has continually got caught with too many punches and as most people say above - against a big puncher he will be sparked out and then his career will be over.
I seem to remember another British fighter a few years ago who was a bit cocky and couldn't come back from defeat... ;)
As i said from day one - Amir Khan will be found out and kayoed within 14 fights ;)
I think if he does fight Earl next (which is the rumour) you'll be a Prophet in my eyes as i reckon Earl can spark him ;)
Small almost got his jaw knocked off and his eyes went into orbit the stoppage was right and Small was behind i don't know how you had him ahead it was close in early going but then Pryce started pulling away on scorecards with his workrate.Quote:

He wern't putting on show i don't buy that he was trying his hardest to ko Limond but Limond was able to catch him flush with right hands due to Khan's defence being leaky Hatton was out on his feet against world class southpaw.Quote:

This fight will help him in the future but he still found a way to win which is most important. We all have our feelings about the kid but i think it's way to early to try and script his career in a good or bad light. Right now he is just a tough young fighter who was finally proven human with some flaws..let's see how he does from here.
I only hope this doesn't make him gunshy but then again lets him work on his defense now. EVeryone was hyping this kid and he gets knocked down once and comes back to win and now his career is over?
Alright, he got up to win the fight regardless and one round won't change that.
One thing is for sure, Khan better work on his defense, all of his opponents from here on out's gameplan will be to bum rush him.
Khans problem is he doesnt move while thinking he does it stood still. Sort it.
