His combinations were exquisite, precise, and powerful. He had one of the greatest combinations of speed and power the sport has ever seen. of course, he was tragically flawed with a weak chin, but that never stopped him from going for the KO.
Hello to another newbie.I dont know manju, norris always struck me as "herky jerky" Ya know?all the courage You Could hope for but his movement seemed stiff and forced.when I first started following boxing like a hermit I first saw him ko m.taylor and was awesome.hes a true warrior and he had some crazy fights.I got alot of his bouts at the forum after that and man,he just could not stop cracking people at the wrong time(like when there down)He was a class act though and every fight had the ingredients for a war. :)

The guy is accepting the fact that Mayweather is P4P #1 at the moment. I don't very much like Mayweather either but I have to admit he is good.

Re: Your Favorite Fighter
Ricky Hatton is my favourite active fighter. First saw him box when i was when i was about 10. He was an amateur and already attractin interest. Followed him ever since and he's never let me down.
Gerald McClellan was a big favourite of mine.
Muhammad Ali got me hooked on the fight game.
Re: Your Favorite Fighter
My favourite fighters:
1.) Winky Wright (the complete deal, forward boxing, probably a top 5 defensive fighters ever, top jab, and a resume that is not topped in this day and age.) He has fought all the elite fighters he could and faired well with all.
2.) Ricky Hatton THe reason I first started watching boxing
3.) Cotto Love the body shots
4.) Wlad (love the jab)
5.) Margarito (he will have a belt again) Slow but tough.
6.) Sugar Shane Was the fastest boxer in his prime. Still fast.
7.) Quartey (love the jab)
Retired: Lennox Lewis (love the jab
Gatti: a real warrior
Duran: warrior
Toney (might as wel be): fought anyone, tough.

Toney you mena James???? I didnt think anybody was "starting to like" him. If you didnt like him in the early years most people hate him now. I was always a big fan but when he came in fat as hell AGAIN against the Nigirian nightmare (cant remember his name right now) I was starting to get discusted with him. He had his shot and he blew it. Not only that I cant understand a thing he says nowdays.LOL
