Im sayin that u said Morales did well. He didnt. He got beat by Diaz who is a nobody. I know Pac would do better but saying that Morales did well is wrong.

okAY, that's your opinion. I have a different opinion. I stand by my conviction that Morales did well. Maybe we need to see the fight again. Then let's come back after we have seen it again and see whether our opinion will change. O0

I would love to see it!
Great question & I agree. Granted, Manny has much more high level experience but @ 135, would Manny's power hurt a tough LW? Also, how would Manny take shots from a guy @ 135? - it wasn't that long ago when Manny was @ 122.
If Morales did well over Diaz @ 135 (he knocked Diaz), how much more Pacquaio? I think he will do well also in the lightweight.
If manny decides to go up, the lightweight division will surely be shaken. the boxing world will be in for the happy times. ;D I'm already excited just thinking about it.
I think Katsidis could knock down/out David Diaz too. I don't know why Manny is in a rush to go to 135 anyway? Why not win a belt or 2 @ 130 first? He never even won a title @ 126, he had that draw with Marquez @ that weight.

Morales did well against Diaz? U have to be kidding. Prime Erik would hae schooled Diaz...
A prime Morales would be 122 or 126.

Agreed. Pac got some unfinished business with JMM, has to avenge his brother's loss to Soto, KTFO a couple of overhyped punks like Guzman and Valero, then he would be ready @ 135.
By the time Pac reach his 31st birthday, 135 would be his natural weight.

What you just said got me excited! If that happens, Pac would just cement an amazing legacy. JMM and Soto is something i would love to see in 2008. Then he would take out the "hype-fighters" in Guzman and Valero(probably wont happen ever cause he cant fight in the US) in 2009.
Pac will probably have to go through more wars with those guys just mentioned plus the one's he's already been in (Morales I, Morales II, Marquez). When it's time for him to move up to 135lbs he would be an old 30yrs. His style of fighting is "hit-and-be-hit" and Barrera and Morales are good examples of how those fighters turn out in their 30s...
...hopefully he can pull it off!
