Have done my research and let me give you back the privilege of refuting me without me posting what I have learned. O0

He's convincing people that he's the best by beating fighters like Baldomir. who have 9 loses. SHould I consider him the greatest of all times? good topic STEADY_E!
I agree. Worst of all he has the guts to say that he is the best boxer of all time.Better than Robinson? No way.... O0
Why don't you check the records of Ray Robinson's opponents?
I'm not going to have a discussion on Floyd and Sugar Ray Robinson. We would be comparing a guy who fought nearly 2-3 times a month with a guy who fights 2 maybe 3 times a year and hand picks his opponent. different eras buddy. everybody in the SUGAR RAY ROBINSON era had at least 10+ losses in their career. He never avoided the best such as LaMotta, Turpin and plenty more. He fought them all. Those fighters we are talikng about, DLH is the only guarantee HOF. GATTI for his fights not for his greatness. He was never great. & maybe Judah can be HOF and even that is a question mark. That's all I'm going to say about this.
Re: Floyd Mayweather. A look at his recent opponents
Robinson fought with much bravery against very very strong oppositions. It's enough for me to say his better than Mayweather. I don't hate Mayweather but for me to accept that he is better than Robinson, it's a different story. O0

Let’s take a look at his last few opponents 140 and above
Demarcus Corley:
Mayweather couldn’t KO him and beat him over 12 rounds. Since then Corley has lost by TKO to Jose Alfor, Lost by UD to Jr Witter and lost by TKO to Miguel Cotto
Henry Bruseles:
This was an elimination bout that was made to keep Mayweather busy and is not worth mentioning. Henry has not really beaten anybody of note before or after this bout.
Shamba Mitchell
Mayweather KO’d him in 4 but Kostya Tsyu had already achieved this and Hatton has already stopped Tsyu and retired him. Which means he was close to retirement when he beat Shamba. Since the Mayweather fight Shamba has been KO’d in 4 by Paul Williams.
Arturo Gatti:
Mayweather steam rolled him. Since this fight he has lost by TKO to Carlos Baldomir and TKO in 7 to Alfonso Gomes(who)
Zab Judah:
Took Mayweather the whole 12 rounds but has just been KO’d by Miguel Cotto
Carlos Baldomir:
Gained the title from over the hill previous light welter Zab Judah just lost UD to Vernon Forrest.
Oscar De La Hoya:
WAY OVER THE HILL
This fight was a joke. Delahoyas size took him so far but he gassed and is a shadow of his former self.
I think Hatton has a much better chance here than I originally thought :)
I will make this statement EVERYTIME this topic comes up since it seems to be coming up more frequently.
You can do this to EVERY fighter today and pick apart their record like this. Yet you forget the fact that
PBF is naturally a superfeatherweight 130 pounds. He was fighting at 154 his last fight 4 full weight classes
up. It would be like Hatton facing someone at 160 like say Winky Wright who is actually older than ODLH.
IF you are going to pick apart PBF's recent fights, do the same for whomever you are comparing them too.
In this case you can talk about what world beaters Urango and Collazo are. And then the mandatory Hatton vs.
Tszyu fight which happened over 2 years and 6 million pints ago.
Excellent point!!
Hatton is a great fighter and will give Floyd his biggest test, but no need to put down PBF. Ultimately the only real name on Hatton's record was Kosta, and it could be argued that he was at the tail end of his career. Who has he fought since he lost to Hatton?

;)
IMO Floyd was a nautural superfeather. (as i now understand)
PBF had 25 fights at 130 no way was he struggling he has a small frame and he's only 5'8"

Re: Floyd Mayweather. A look at his recent opponents
I'll tell you something about those opponents of Floyds...I'd of been made up if Ricky Hatton had those names on his record. It's simply good matchmaking if you ask me. Certainly in the context of allowing Floyd to get to where he's got anyway.
Hindsight tells us that they we're perhaps past thier best but the goal has always been to get DLH in the ring and make the kind of money PBF thinks he deserves.
He gets a lot of plaudits for what he does in the ring but I actually think he deserves the most praise for the business acumen him and his team have showed.
