No.... Golota would have knocked Peter on his ass early in the fight, and then as soon as Peter got back up and showed he wasn't going to quit, Golota would've folded and fallen apart, as always.Quote:

Golota would have had Sam in trouble and been able to close it out because he hits harder than McCline.
Since the Golota and Rahman options weren't used up why didn't Rahman and Golota fight each other??? That would be a very good fight for ESPN to show....put a couple young guys on the undercard, it would be great.
I always wanted Golota and Rahman to be good enough to challenge for titles and give Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, and Bowe runs for their money. Golota was just mental and Rahman never was active enough or consistant.
I thought Rahman could be the American version of Frank Bruno and I thought Golota could be just a good solid European fighter and he was when he was on his game but when it comes to title shots he's horrible
I don't cheer for the guys but I always wanted them to do well so that there would be some depth at heavyweight
And what makes you think these scenarios wouldn't have played out against Peter?Quote:

He would have low blowed him and then fallen apart ;DQuote:

So I'm hoping and thinking Golota winning by three. I think this is the coming out and leaving on top for Golota.
I always thought Golota had the physical and technical tools to be a real player in the HW's, but lacked the emotional and mental toughness. I thought he beat both Byrd and Ruiz. If Sam jumps on him quick it could be over fast. I'd say Golota had the skills and ability to win this fight but I'm not sure if he still can do it at this point in his career. Either way if Sam makes it a real war Golota will fold in the latter rounds.
