Hopkins never let his hands go against Taylor, at least not in the way Kelly is going to unload. Hopkins gave away a lot of rounds. Taylor wont be fighting a pitter patter in Kassim Ouma or a runner in Cory Spinks. Taylor is fighting a young hungry kid that hits pretty darn hard. I see Kelly catching Taylor in the corners and on the ropes and putting a whooping on Taylor. Does anyone else find it odd that Taylor was already talking about a rematch? LOL that is a clear indication of Taylor's overall confidence coming into this fight. BTW. I don't give a rats-azz what you did in the amateurs. You can miss me with that nonsense all day long.

i'm excited about the fight. wack-man, if I may say, please don't get too juiced before the first part of the fight.

i wanted to raise two questions for my knowledgeable saddo pals/mates:

(1) I heard Pavlik mention in a few pre-fight interviews (i'm paraphrasing) that Spinks backed up Taylor, and if Spinks did it then Pavlik will certainly be phyically dominating. I tried to find Taylor-Spinks on you-tube but apparently it's not there. What do you think, is there any merit in Pavlik's comment here?

(2) Emmanuel Stewart has been articulating how Taylor is on a whole other level than Pavlik, footspeed/work, coordination, pedigree amateur career, having fought some of the very best. Pavlik commented on this, saying that "Stewart is getting paid a lot of many to say these kinds of things." What do you think, can we take Stewart's assessment as genuine? And assuming that he is genuine about what he is saying, do you think there is weight this assessment?

Great to have you back Wacko, SweetPea & No Contest have been doing a great job in your absence but your DRBR's are a tradition.

The closer this fight gets the harder it gets for me to pick a clear winner.

All along I've been going with Pavlik by decision, but in the last week I've started to think that Jermain may come in at his best. If this happens I think he takes the points victory. I feel Taylor is the better fighter on paper but his last few performances leave a lot to be desired. Pavlik maybe just the sort of opponent JT needs to bring out his best! I dunno Pavlik might just be better!

I'm gonna stay with Pavlik though.

Either way I'm hoping for a great fight...
