Pavlik for me, though Linares shined when confronted with Larios, albeit an aging Larios. Maybe not fighter of the year, but really made an impression on me. Hatton will be FOTY if he pulls this business of with Floyd; would be a HUGE upset against the world's #1 P4P.

So many fighters have had a great year. It really is difficult to pick just one. I will lean with Pavlik so far as not only did he have three great fights, against great opposition, but while doing so went from a relatively unknown quality, into one of boxings biggest stars.
2007 has become the best boxing year in the last 15 years for me. So many good fighters are actually fighting each other now. New stars are emerging on to the scene. With the exception of the HW division, I have not seen boxing in a more positive state.
