For starters, St. Clair beat Balyoi (IBF holder) just a few fights back. Khan won every single round against St. Clair beating him with ease yet you'd give Khan NO CHANCE against Balyoi, right?
Graham Earl has a win over the current European champ and Top 10 rated Yuri Romanov. Earl nearly had Katsids knocked out before Casamayor did. Khan smashed Earl to bits in 90 seconds but that means NOTHING regarding Khans standing amongst the world's lightweights - according to dax, right?
How many Khan fights have you seen?
AWWWW Little Fenster getting tired?,,,,Maybe it is nap time little boy because you are whine like one....You sit and argue with yourself....Just because I don't think Kahn is going to be elite your ranting and tantrum is not going to change that....Your arguement and going off in left field about Who St. Clair beat 5 fights ago means nothing...period SHIT!!!!!!!
WTF does Graham Earl almost knocking out Katsidis have to do with anything?....It doesn't....Earl did not knock Katsidis out and the fight did not go past the 5th with a W in Katsidis favor...So do we all know what would have, should have, could have means?....It means it did not happen.....I could have, would have , should have opted for penis enlargement surgery when it first came out and then I could have, would have and should have been a porn star but I opted it as a crazy operation that needed some mental unstability to have done so I didn't...now I am married with a wife and mini van full of kids....
You are bringing in all kinds of shit and trying to bring in all kinds of this guy did this and almost did that and Kahn beat them to make a case for yourself and it is not working so save yourself embaressment and give it up while you are ahead.....
Look at the post in this topic I am not the only one who thinks the same thing....
Tell you what....Lets say Kahn beat Casamayor, David Diaz etc...then went to 140 and by some crazy reason Malignaggi enterd the fight on Heroin....and Kahn beat him...Fact is with the way he keeps his chin up Hatton and Witter put him into the canvas in 5 rds....he may be half Arab or what ever middle eastern country his roots are from but he is no Naseem Hamed where his power can allow him to do that against the elite.......Pacquiao blast him out in 3.....but I suppose that wouldn't happen either right?....C'mon Fenster lets hear your arguement on that one.....
Are you on The Kahn fucking Payroll....Come back when your arguement is worth a dime and you can avoid a tantrum throwing in shit I never said
Man you are seriously the most agro poster on here, why get so angry and state your opinion as fact. I see you do it all the time, it's childish crap. I also love how you can't even answer his question as to how many fights you've actually seen of Amir. He'd simply lose to everyone because of the way he keeps his chin up. But Katsidis for instance, always keeps it nice and tucked away, hence that being the only reason he can compete with these guys. Don't like to butt in on a debate between two posters, but you seem to lose a wingnut anytime anyone disagrees with you.
Yes because I am the one who started with the Caps and making smilies with rolling eyes...all because I said IMO kahn was not going to be elite and could not beat the top tier...then went on a tangent on how St Clair beat so and so then started saying stuff like "I suppose Kahn can't beat NANTHACHAI right?"......Prettyt sure that was fenster...so mind your business....In fact i'll continue to be childish and rob you of the rep he gave you while you guys PM'd each other to make an appointment to have a circle jerk

If you didn't know I had a point you would've just hurled more childish insults at me. Or are you severly bi-polar:confused:

First off - GROW UP! If you believe i'll resort to your standards, ruining a thread with childish insults, you are very much mistaken.
Second, I never stated ANYTHING you didn't say. You stated that Khan can't beat any Top Light/Lightwelter-weight and ALSO
"In the SFW division he beats no one in the top ten even within 3 years time" - You said this, right?
You then asked me to highlight reasons for Khan beating men you've mentioned?
I clearly SHOWED you through formlines with Khan's opponent - Gairy St. Clair - in regards to current IBF champ Balyoi it would be NAIVE to disregard Khan's chances with him. According to YOU Khan has NO-CHANCE against this man, right? He is Top 10 SF after all.
Khan's win in relation to Graham Earl was highlighted, as you asked, to show for a
17 fight 21 year old he was more impressive beating him than current top 10 rated lightweights. So to disregard Khan's chances of attaining future glory seems a little ignorant on your behalf. That is all.
NOW, for the final time - How many Khan fights have you seen?
Let's see I seen the Earl Fight, St Clair, his last fight...His first 3 or 4...Plus the Amateur coverage of his I have seen....Anything more?....I have seen more of him then you have unless you have gone to all his fights in person.....There is your answer...You still are the one who got mad first because I said Kahn was not going to be one of the best in the division and will not beat any of the elite....Just go look back at the post...you are the one who started putting things in caps ETC so don't try to pass the buck like you were calmly trying to debate something....So I'll tell you what since you and P4P like to give each other rep like your high fiving each other I'll throw some to you as well
I use caps to highlight a point.. it's NOTHING to do with shouting or being mad. Ive seen all his fights so not sure how you work out you've seen more than me but..anyway
So you've seen 6.. or maybe 7.. out 17 fights. Fair enough, you're entitled to an opinion, personally ive never felt Khan was destined for greatness but for someone to believe he wouldn't beat ANY top 10 SF makes me think their judgment is pretty poor where boxing is concerned ;)

I've only seen 4. But this statment is one I can get behind. Like I said earlier... I can only base things on what I've seen. I think he will be a "good" fighter. He fights well. I see where Daxx is coming from but think really, he had shot against a few of the tops but not for a while.
Again, just my oppinion.

....With his chin waaay up in the air, I agree completely Memphis.
Thing that worries me is that he does it after EVERY knockdown..he's going to do it one day after he scores a flash knockdown and his opponent is just gonna get up and take advantage of him rushing in with his chin out.
I agree on this, and think it is just one of several different bad habits he has defensively. I hate that too, surely Casamayor or Cambell are crafty enough to take advantage of that.
Khan has looked impressive, he's a bit of a phenomenon, he is very fast, very powerful but with flaws. The lightweight division is STRONG at the moment and it's a bit on a whim to take Khan over EVERYONE. I think that's a bit over the top and not very realistic. There's more to boxing then good power and good speed and I don't think Khan does the finer things to make him a sure bet right now, not to mention that he hasn't been chin checked! That's a huge thing that people are losing in this thread, he hasn't faced anyone with notable power and seemingly purposely has been matched against soft punchers.
I love fighters with energy but certainly that energy is going to work against Khan at some point. Like Memphis said, that business with him chasing his opponents straight across the ring, it's amateurish. He's an excitable guy but that has to stop. However faded you believe Casamayor to be, do you really think he would have any problem sidestepping Khan and send him back to England with a KO loss? I don't.
And it's not just that, he is very much off balance when he throws the left hand, no matter what it is. The jab is decent, but he overreaches with it and doesn't pick it back up after he throws. Also the left hook, winds up a lot on it and several times during the Kristjansen fight he was spinning on his front foot after throwing and missing.
Essentially it's all about the right hand for Khan. I'll admit that it's a tremendous right and he does do a good job of putting the left hook after the right, but that's not enough and he's just too open on the defensive end for the right hand over the low left and the left hook when he reaches with the jab. Very leaky defense but so far that hasn't been a problem for him for a few different reasons, mainly because the guys put in front of him have been overwhelmed by his power and speed.
Fact is, we just don't know enough about Khan. Right now against guys with no power and who he's leagues better then, these flaws are there but not exploited. We haven't seen anyone try to back Khan up throughout the course of an entire fight. Kristjansen was in the 4th and 5th but Khan didn't have to respect his power, so he was able to battle back. Think Nate Campbell wouldn't try to move Khan backwards the entire fight and not give him any space for the right hand? Based off his last fight, a 36 year old Nate Campbell would have no problem matching Khan's energy.
And what about the chin? We don't know yet. As Saddo has pointed out, he has yet to be matched with someone above 50% with their KO percentage. We know Khan can be hit, but no one has had the power to make those hits count. Between Casamayor, Campbell and Pacquiao there is a lot of power to go around at lightweight at the top.
I'll give you a guy who I think is much more ready for the big stage then Khan, Anthony Peterson. A guy with great speed, confidence and power but without those bad habits.
I think Khan would fall short if matched right now against those at the top. He's just got to tighten up the defense for my liking. That's not bagging on him, I just think he has some lessons to learn between now and a title shot.
