Before NAFTA we made our own products and made so much that we shipped them out to everyone else, lots of jobs for everyone no real issue with illegal immigration.

For the average American citizen sure products become cheaper but at a cost of quality and jobs for hard working Americans and if we hit a bump in the economic road and go into a recession or God forbid a depression...we're going to be completely fucked.
However we can't stop giving good deals to China because the majority of our debt is tied up with them and they can call us on it whenever they feel like it.
