Tszyu was never P4P number 1, and as for Hatton beating Mayweather he will go to number 2 or 3 i believe.

Can't see how you can say he was never P4P No.1 as pretty sure he was at the top of the rankings in most respected magazines.

To my knowledge Tszyu was never in the top 3 p4p. Before Floyd assumed the spot Bernard Hopkins was p4p number 1 and for years before Hopkins took the slot Roy Jones was number 1 according to the ring rankings.

When Hatton beat Tyszu, Kosta was just about in the top 10, bottom end.

Hopkins, Barrera, Morales, Mayweather, Coralles, Castillo etc were all rated above Tyszu in the p4p rankings at that time as I recall.

I used to say that no,Hatton won't be P4P number 1,even if he beats Mayweather. Why>? Simple-did JT become P4P number 1 after beating B Hop TWICE? Did Tarver become number 1 after KTFO RJJ? Etc etc

Now however,I am inclined to agree that he should be number 1. It would be SUCH a HUGE victory for him to win this fight,I mean,there are hardcore Hatton fans who don't think he can win,let alone anyone else. So,I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and give it to him but it's irrelevant for me personally.

MY P4P number 1 will be the winner of Marquez-Pacman fight.

I don't see how he can't be number 1.

He'll have beaten 3rd (when he beat Tszyu) and 1st on the list, aswell as beating Castillo.

Yeah I agree the Pac man should be WAY up there

Has fought excellent oppersition,isnt scared of anybody, comes back after losing and finishes great fighters inside 12.

Whilst I can see your point,it' doesn't always work like thought,does it?Look at the timespan in between beating Tszyu and IF he beats Mayweather.He didn't exactly face stellar competition in between!Sine his won over Tszyu,Hatton has been slipping down the P4P lists. I'd have him there by merit of his win over Mayweather alone,a man not many think can be beaten and certainly not by Hatton.
