When your talking sports announcers i.e Fox, ESPN etc they use the word hyperbole in a way I'd call slang. If your talking proper, correct english hyperbole is not slang, but in the context of a sports broadcaster I'd certainly put that word under the category of slang. It's a flavour of the month kinda word for the announcers at the minute in my opinion.

I know how it is when a bunch of people are talking shit about your favorite fighter, give em hell Dios. That just shows you love the sport, but you can make points without name calling, its not as fun , but some people cant hang. The point he was trying to make is Floyd is a draw, it may be in the role of a villian but he still sells tickets. Doesnt matter if people are paying to see him go down, they still pay the same amount. You cant say that De La Hoya vs anyone else would have drawn those numbers. Floyd is gaining momentum IMO as long as the 0 doesnt go he will be the draw in the fight.If he wins against Hatton, you better believe people will be paying to see his next fight. There is so much riding on this fight for both buys.
