Re: B LEVEL FIGHTER?????????????
El Game and Bilbo are talkin the most sense on this thread
At 147 he is B level.
At 140 he is most definately A level
He just doesn't carry the weight and he gives away all of his physical advantages.
At 140 he outworks, outhustles and over powers people. At 147 he can't do any of that because the opponents are naturally bigger and stronger. It's common sense for him to go back to 140 and concentrate on building his legacy in that division.

CC for being a Hatton fan talking sense. He can still cement a very good legacy for himself by cleaning out 140 and unifying, something he could do easily imo.

:coolclick: returned.
The top fighters at 147 are way too big and strong for him. Especially Cotto.
140 is the place to be for Hatton.
He need to fight either Witter or Paulie and then fight Baby Bull when he moves up in 2009.
Re: B LEVEL FIGHTER?????????????
i still don't know why he lunged at floyd with a miserably timed and angled left hook, only to get caught by floyd's short left hook. Ricky threw his left hook so off balanced it made me wonder why he threw it in the first place. He also had his right hand down as he threw it.

I agree!
Re: B LEVEL FIGHTER?????????????
I think Manny Steward was right, that body bag that he hits in training is no good. His conditioning training is great but he needs to work on his technique. This far in his career, he is what he is though so hell probably continue training the way he always has.

Over confidence and single mindedness because of it made them go into the whole game without all of what they could have brought to the table.
No jab ,opening with step in hooks against Floyd ???
*His corner let him go and he went.
Single minded from the get go against the best counter puncher in the business!
Then once you've seen it for real..it doesnt take much to work out another course of action after 7 rounds of the same crap.
It makes even more sense to change tactics when your usual stuff at 140 dont work at 147.
They didnt have anything else to offer because they never thought they would need it.
