For me, not so much so. Thats why i didnt respond with 'STFU' ;)
Re: RICKY HATTON: "I can't stop crying."
you only missed the Newb at the end of that ;D
so when he was alive we could get on his case for being a wife beating thug but now he's dead we can't bring up the drubbing he got from Mayweather :-\
I'm sure he felt/feels like shit but the mark of a champion is how you respond to that. If he fights safe for the rest of his career people will say PBF broke him. If he comes back looking to take the big fights, that's when we'll see how he has taken his first L.
Re: RICKY HATTON: "I can't stop crying."
I think that it shows how committed hatton was as fighter. Its testamant to the fact that he came to fight and not just for the paycheck. yet another reason why boxing is the toughest sport around. One minute ur the man, next every man on the street is taking pot-shots at you. No doubt if PBF was to loose a fight, everything that went before will be forgotten.
Re: RICKY HATTON: "I can't stop crying."
Ricky needs to get the fvck over it imo. The only top boxer I can think of the top of my head who retired undefeated is Marciano.
All the greats had losses and to lose to the P4P number 1 in a weight division your clearly not comfortable in is nothing to be ashamed off.
He needs to wake up, get over it and start fighting the likes of Witter, Malanaggi, Diaz...maybe even Pac.
Ricky could easily go down as the greatest light welterweight of all time imo.

Can't believe you never heard of Sven Ottke, he was a German Super Middleweight champion from 1998 to 2004. He beat fighters like Robin Reid, Charles Brewer, Etc, although i think the fight with Reid was disgraceful decision. Haven't you ever heard the jokes about all the gift decision's Sven Ottke got ??

The name did ring a bell but I knew nothing about him. I've only really got seriosuly into my boxing in the last 2 or three years, before that I was a casual fan at best. Should I check out some of his fights?

Not really i never thought he was that great to be honest, and he did get a lot of gift decisions in Germany. He also ducked Calzaghe like the plague.
