Call my Stable 2 Da Body
I would like Nonito Donaire $15000, Edwin Valero $9000 and Kermit Cintron $4000.
Is Chad Dawson up for grabs... I did not see him on the list.

Yeah when a player has selected their stable I remove those fighters from the available fighters section.

Re: Fantasy Boxing League
Galaxy i hate to bother you but how far down are you in the list so i know when to be on so i dont slow things down for you at all.

Re: Fantasy Boxing League
Galaxy I have a few more questions for you:
Is there an end day to the "season" or does it just go on forever?
What, if anything, happens when fighters in two different weight-classes fight? IE is there a bonus/penalty for a boxer who is fighting a guy above/below his natural weight?
-

I thought it was fair just to leave the dollar values the same for a fighter fighting outta his weight class. Didn't think was fair to penalize the fighter staying in the weight class just because the other was moving up.
As for end of season, we'll get things running 1st then see where we wanna take it.
Great questions bro

Fair enough. This is a great idea, I'll send you more rep when I'm able.
Sorry to keep bugging you, but I have another quick question. I've never played any fantasy sports before, but I know in some leagues they trade players etc., are we doing something similar? IE Say I get sick of Arthur Abraham fighting bums in Germany, can I release him from my stable and get what he's worth at the time, or a portion of what he's worth, to buy other unclaimed fighters?

Yeah bro definitely! But we'll put it to a vote once we got things underway to see how much you should be able to release fighters for. You should have to keep fighters in your stable you don't like. But I feel it should be less than their dollar value.

Yeah, I definately agree it should be for considerably less than their dollar value. Maybe something like 60%-70% of their current value. I like the idea of putting it to a vote, very liberal of you.

Re: Fantasy Boxing League
Just wanted to let everyone know I offered this choice to Saddoboxer, Pacstraightleft & JT Rock as it is the 1st week.
Just wanted to let you know that if fighter wins you'll win $$$ but if he loses you'll lose become bankrupt. I just wanted to give you the opportunity to sell back some fighters to cover the debt in case of a loss this once, as it's the 1st week. If your confident of victory then we'll leave it as it is.
My original post
I was also thinking about this scenario... What I suggest is that we will re-define bankruptcy. You can be declared bankrupt if your money is already negative and can't be covered up by total value of your other remaining assets (your remaining boxers that has not fought yet).
For example Tarver lost, so I'm already negative at (-) $12,000 but I still have $24,000 value of my remaining boxers so I'm still at a net value of plus (+) $12,000.
Saddoboxers suggestion
I think it’s a good suggestion. What do the rest of you guys who have signed up think?
I think the best option would be if you signed-up with $36,000 that would be your total value. If you spent all your $36,000 on fighters you would have no money left but a total value of $36,000. As you win or lose fights this will affect your total value. e.g. if Tarver lost Saddoboxer would lose $12,000 from his total value making it $24,000 total value. His money would reflect -$12,000 but he would not be considered bankrupt until his total value went below 0.

Re: Fantasy Boxing League
If possible, I'd like to sign up as well.
And considering the tough rules of this game, I'd like to name my stable The Leftover Warriors.

I'm agreeable to this... as long as I won't suddenly go bankrupt if Tarver loses his fight this weekend... ;)
