Bell is playing into Adamek's game. Bell needs to use his jab alot more.
These announcers are as exciting as watching paint dry.
5-1 for Adamek with the 10-8 round for Adamek. (rd. 1)
Quit!!!
I just lost alot of respect for Bell. How absurd:-X
So where are ALL the Bell supporters that were saying Bell was gonna knock his socks out?
Like I said the inactivity and the way he had been fighting lead me to belive he'd loose this fight.
That was a complete shock to me, wtf is wrong with Bell?? He has come back from adversity...that was just plain weird. He didnt seem like he was in trouble , yeah he was down...but you don't just quit like that...oh well.
No one even bell supporters could have expected this type of performance from him, and this guy wanted to fight cunningham ??!!!
Amazing I did have Adamek to win by UD but he made Bell quite.I am kind of in shock. This to me is alot like Tszyu vs Hatton.Bell usually bombs his oppenents out in the latter stages of the fight.Absolutely amazing for Adamek.
Can't believe he quit. Great win for Adamek!
Im going to Prides Thread so I can enter myself as someone I would like to Punch in the face.I am sooo focused and centered on Hopkins VS. Calzaghe that I totally forgot this one .Missed it Gotdamn it,dumbass...WTF.Any replays or downloads Available ??Bell got Rang ??
He quit ??? Man,Did not see that one coming. Was it a back turning or on stool ??
WTF, I make this thread and then completely forget to watch the fight
So what happened? Was Bell getting beaten up or just outboxed? Says on fightnews he was ill.
I picked Bell, its hard to predict anything about him with complete confidence cause he's such a flake but I just didn't think Adamek was a real cruiser, 175 to 200 is a big leap.
Adamek rocked and dropped Bell in round.
When Bell got up he was a bit shaken up.
In the 2nd round, Adamek stepped back and did not go after Bell to see if he was still hurt. For the most part Adamek was beating Bell to the punch and was outboxing him. Adamek would jab and punch and step back. Adamek lands some solid right hands and stuns Bell. I think Bell lands one good shot in the fight.
I'm not sure what happened to be honest, because like I said in a previous post he had tooken some bigger shots vs. JMM and Brown.
By the way thanks for making the thread I almost forgot this one myself. Then I noticed it on threads I was subscribed to. :)
Tomasz Adamek tko'd Bell in 8 rounds. That is a great effort by the polish fighter. Adamek is durable as fuck and a decent fighter, he might have been the guy to give Haye a good run for his money.
Pity he won the fight on the same weekend as Hop v Cal cos he deserves heaps of credit. Hope this hasnt already been posted.
Thoughts?
I haven't seen the fight, I've only read about it, but it sounds like it was an impressive victory. He made a former champ quit on his stool, that's no small feat.
The only Adamek fight I have seen is when he fought Briggs. That was a great fight.
Damn! eagle we missed you out here for the rd. by rd. chat.....
I merged your topic with this.... There was quite a few of us here for the fight. He looked good and set a pace for himself, he dropped Bell early in round 1, which oddly enough Hopkins dropped Joe in the 1st round also.
That's 2 knockdowns that I think no one would have predicted.
It really is a good win for Adamek and I hope he get's a title shot vs. Cunningham as I think that has all the makings of a damn! entertaining fight. Both guys like to trade and they both want to establish themselves in the Div.
Bizarre and very disapointing fight. It wasn't a WAR or nothin. Bell quit which was weird...
He was losing but he's got that one hit KO power.
I think he's bout finished at the World Class level. Haye would eat his lunch.
